During Google's I/O conference, the latest projects have been announced. Amazon's recently-launched Cloud Music player has a new competitor. Google Music Beta is testing the concept of an online player. Large music distributors are apparently not very happy about this product launch. Talks to make this player official broke down before launch.

Sparkling 4th of July Fireworks with Music
...perhaps a private function at home. Hundreds gathered at the Vision Backlot for the 9th Annual 4th of July Leimert Park Jazz Festival sponsored by Councilmember Bernard C. Parks and the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs. We were thoroughly entertained with a stellar line-up of musicians as well as comedians. I arrived in time to catch Mark Allen Felton played a set of smooth jazz, couple with some jazz standards. Ray Bailey set the stage on fire with an incendiary set of blues. Memphis-The Memphis in May-Beale Street Music Festival a popular event, was held on Friday, April 30 through Sunday May 2, 2010. Severe weather was forecast which caused a delayed opening for Saturday, May 1st, and tornado warnings resulted in the festival being shut down on Saturday night.
