The Anti-Israel Demonstration in London

By ranfuchs, published on Sep 25, 2011

“What’s the petition for?” I asked Jane.

“It’s for the children of Gaza. They suffer in the war with Israel …. If you want, you can give donation too.” She guided me around the corner where three English-looking women in their twenties were chatting up some young guys from behind two small tables. Posters were stapled to the front of this makeshift stall. “Support the children of Gaza,” read one. “End the Siege on Gaza,” said another.

A few hundred demonstrators packed the court. Many held banners stained with blood marks for a background: “Stop the genocide in Gaza”,... (more)

Israel Palestine 1000:1

By ranfuchs, published on Oct 18, 2011

...prisoners are about to be released. Prisoners with many heads on their belts: heads of butchered children, of toddlers, of people who took the wrong turn; prisoners who planted bombs in school busses, or knifed civilians and cut their hearts out.

In return for these prisoners, a single Israeli soldier will be released. And the Arab street is rejoicing. Not only does it celebrate the release of sons and daughters. It celebrates bringing Israeli to its knees. A thousand to one, can there be a bigger victory against the empire of evil?

The world, as well, does not understand.... (more)

Why Do Europeans Hate Israel So Much?

By ranfuchs, published on Feb 12, 2010

...plans to continue with its nuclear program will soon put Europe in the range of the Iranian nuclear warheads. The rise of extreme Islam in Europe threatens to change the face of Europe and the European culture forever. Many real problems that may threaten the European lifestyle, and yet anti-Israel sentiment is still prevalent.

My question is why? Why is anti-Israel sentiment high on the public agenda in a continent with so many urgent problems? Is Israel really such a risk to Europe, or alternatively, are Israel’s actions so horrific that Europe simply cannot ignore them for... (more)

Glaring Hypocrisy, Bloated Bureaucracy Plagues Israel

By Dan Ehrlich, published on Jun 6, 2010

The aid convoys to Gaza, which are largely publicity stunts aimed at embarrassing Israel, illustrates the double standard being practiced, one law for the world and another for Israel.

Every nation reserves the right to stop and inspect cargo for contraband. The US Coast Guard and Navy do it all the time in our war on drugs and terrorism. Ships are stopped and searched and if found carrying illegal goods, can be impounded.

The big difference with the recent Israeli actions is American sailors rarely are met with force or screaming violent crew members. Israel was.

Media: The War Israel Has Lost

By ranfuchs, published on Jun 6, 2010

The Middle-East war is fought in many fronts. While Israel has managed to maintain its militarily superiority, it’s been continuously defeated on the PR and media fronts, which it has neglected for many years. The way the recent flotilla event was conducted PR-wise, is merely the tip of the iceberg of Israeli inability to comprehend the importance of International Media and PR as a legitimate warfare strategy.

In this case, for instance, assuming that Israel needs to maintain the blockade on Gaza, let’s see how it could have conducted a Media-savvy operation.

In the months prior... (more)

Initiative to Support Israel Poses Questions for Countries

By JJFCPA, published on Jul 8, 2010

An international group of leading politicians, business and thought leaders have formed a new group called “Friends of Israel Initiative”. As the name suggests, the purpose of the group is to support Israel. The support for Israel is different than what one would expect. Its stated goal is to bring reason and decency back to the discussion of Israel which in some circles is considered a pariah.

The group is composed of prominent individuals from both western democracies and third world countries. The list includes leaders from the U.S. (John Bolton, former ambassador to the United Nations... (more)

Israel, Mon Amour ?!

By nanouch, published on Apr 3, 2008

(more)

Israel And Iran - The Next Arms Race?

By ddrapayo, published on Jul 10, 2008

...between the United States of America and the Soviet Union in the 1970s and 1980s. Both the USA and the Soviets seeked to build the biggest nuclear missles they could, and citizens of both nations lived in perpetual fear of being nuked to oblivion. Today, we have another arms race between Israel and Iran. While I have my own opinions on who is right and who is wrong, this article is not about that. Rather, it is about how terrifying this race has the potential to become. Yesterday, Iran tested missles which have the potential to reach, and possibly destroy, Israel. Should Iran... (more)

Israel Lobby: Helping or Hurting the U.S.?

By TheTruth, published on Mar 19, 2007

The United States has a long history of lobbyists, which by definition are persons who try to influence legislation on behalf of a special interest, to help gain support for their causes. In the case of the relations between the United States and Israel, a certain group called the "Israel Lobbyists", are those who influence, directly or indirectly, American foreign policy for the support of Israel. In March, 2006, John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt wrote an article entitled "The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy". In this article, Mearsheimer and Walt bluntly address the issues that lay... (more)
