LA's NFL Team: The Houston Texans

By J. Lyon Miller, published on Jun 26, 2007

...of 30,000 at the Bowl more than 12 times a year (Hmmm….wonder why the Galaxy never asked when they played there….oh, right). The NFL, who have lawyers who get coffee for other lawyers, generally don’t “ask” for anything. Which is why Our Team is called the Houston Texans. On Becoming An Activist

By Edward, published on Jan 4, 2009

...that all changed a few years ago.  My kids were on something called the Internet.  I took to it like a duck to water.  It seemed an equal playing field to me.  The world was my oyster.  That’s how I discovered Broowaha.  Never mind I didn’t know where London was, or Mumbai, or even Houston as I’ve only been to parts of Northern Nevada and Northern California.  Seema Upadhyay brought Mumbai to life for me.  I learned to use the various search engines.  I learned to right-click for synonyms.  I learned to use a spell and grammar checker learning in the process what grammar... (more)
