Marcy Lynne's Profile
A word about Marcy Lynne:
I'm a baby boomer, who doesn't mind getting older. Yet. Been through the "bad old days" of my youth, the angst and trauma of my middle age, and now finding peace in my maturity. I have always loved writing, and have occasionally in the past been published in actual newspapers and magazines. But I do mean occasionally. To me it is an extension of my love for entertaining. It's creative, and it's more fun when you have an audience. But the truth is, I do love the process. And I love painting scenes with the brush of simple, familiar words and everyday observations. Mostly, I have found great joy in living my life in gratitude every day. God is at the center of my life, and that's the Key to everything.
Home. And on stage.
You'd think as a professional singer, this would be an easy question. I still always have to think about the answer. But I'll say this...Bonnie Raitt still takes my breath away. (No, I don't sing like her. Nobody does.)
