The government has just released the most recent model in the Dietary Guidelines series. The government writes the pamphlet every five years, addressing some aspects of the diet of Americans and what ought to be included and cut. The effect isn't expected to be dramatic. Nobody should have to take out a pay day loan to change their diet with the new recommendations. Article resource - New dietary guidelines published by federal government by MoneyBlogNewz.

That’s a word that sends shivers down my spine

Yet a smile on my face

Why?

Because it makes me think of Dylan, the child that means the world to me.

When I think about his struggle though and the fact he can’t express himself properly a pain so strong runs through my body. I wish there was something I could do.

I used to make myself feel better by giving him all my love, dedication and friendship. If any of you read my piece Dylan My Love, than you know what that child means to me.

Perhaps you know someone, maybe even a family member... Read More

Several years ago, America discovered that a number of men suffered with a condition known as "Erectile Dysfunction (ED)". Without going into minute detail, ED is simply the restriction of blood flow into the penis at a time when this blood flow is, well, desired. For those lucky enough to live in a world untouched by mass marketing, it turns out that a bunch of men can’t get it up. No word on whether the severity of the problem is equally born by the significant others of those afflicted. It’s not the kind of thing most men would willingly tell their friends. Besides, nothing would take the... Read More

My eyes are nothing more than faucets

Leaking every now and then

While painting a thin line of sadness

Down my colorless, pale cheeks.

I feel depression crawl through my thin skin

And nibble away my happiness

Like a hungry cockroach eating through wood.

My usual smile is too heavy

And as a result it falls into a frown.

Stress is my yoke,

and I a weak ox.

The voices in my head

Are as loud as coyotes

At the blackest hour of night

Howling to be heard.

My heart once a clown

Is now... Read More

We've all heard it a million times, that laughter is the best medicine. Indeed it is. But even better yet, not only is laughter an act that keeps the doctor away, but a laugh a day will actually helps you live longer! That's right, and here's how it works:First of all, laughter reduces at least four of the neuroendocrine hormones associated with stress response. These are epinephrine,... Read More

A pedometer is a small, inexpensive device that is great for motivating you to get out and about. It is perfect for those who procrastinate when it comes to exercise. The great thing that I have found when using a pedometer is that it makes me want to move more and I actually find that I am challenging myself to do more each day.

What is a pedometer?

A pedometer is a small, compact device that measures the number of steps that you take. There are also models that can measure the amount of calories that you have burned and how long you spent doing aerobic exercise.

Recently I saw an article about germs. People that are germo-phobes do not shake hands. I don't blame them, I have seen you walk out of the bathroom without washing your hands, and you know who you are . Some hygeine practices are just non-existant and poorly done by most people. People have become lax about germs and therefore spreading them abundantly and extensively.

Take money for instance, you find a coin or bill on the floor, do you pick it up, put it in your pocket, kiss it, pass it around, hand it to a homeless person on the street, snort some coke with it, pick up a dead... Read More
