FINE usually means Feelings Inside Not Expressed! I read this and thought very interesting and very true. How often have you been in some kind of emotional or physical pain when someone close to you asked “How are you doing?” and you, in spite of the pain, said, “I’m fine,”knowing full well you weren’t?

It is true that when someone asks us how we are, we tend to respond with “I’m fine.” And the truth is that we are more often than not… NOT FINE when we say it.

Usually, the response “I’m fine” is an attempt to hide. Of course, the answer you give depends largely on who... Read More

Most men feel that they have the ability to fully control a particular situation or a result but this is just an illusion. The truth is that every moment of our lives are carefully thought out by the one and only Supreme Being. All our successes and failures too are preordained from the day that we are born. If a person is successful; it is because his success is written in the books of the Almighty and so is his failure. No matter how much we try to chalk out elaborate plans to succeed, it is our destiny that prevails at the end.

What Do You Like About Yourself ?

It's kind of strange, but for some reason people struggle with answering this more so than if you ask them what they don't like about themselves. Seems they can come up with quite a list of negatives, but the positives things are harder for them to acknowledge.

Sometimes, we spend so much time thinking about our faults, and our weaknesses that we overlook everything that is precious and beautiful about ourselves.

So, I thought I'd ask the question:

What do you like about yourself?

It may be things about your body, your... Read More

I read a book one time about ways of discovering your life’s meaning. It was informative, and filled with lots of ideas and methods of taking your existence into positive territory. And one of the areas I enjoyed most was an exercise in listing at least ten of your biggest moments so far—those trinkets in time helping shape who you are and that left the greatest impressions. For everyone, those experiences can be both, good and bad; a divorce or bad breakup, childhood bully, death of someone you loved. Or maybe it was the thrill of graduating from college, getting your first job, meeting “the... Read More

Every few years the Olympics comes around and becomes the centerpiece of global culture. In a world filled with crime, war, poverty, and injustice, the spectacle of seeing people who have dedicated major portions of their lives to excelling at a physical discipline and rising to the highest levels of human achievement is not only a welcome distraction. It is inspirational, uplifting, and even awe inspiring! Seeing someone spin in the air more times than you can count, then land on a slippery surface on 1/8" wide blade of steel and do it with grace is a stunning sight to see! Watching people... PRIDE IS SWEET IN THY MOUTH, YET RUIN, IS BITTER IN THY BELLY

The trouble with the awaken brothers, is that almost every one, once awaken assumes they know the entire truth, they seem to take on an enormous sense of pride, going about stealing information from one another and presenting it to the congregation as if the Most High spoke to them first. Operating as if the Most High will give them points or blessings by telling others first some new secret about the bible, when they really don't seek after the Most High, but after fame, recognition, and the maintenance of their own pride.

“Motivation” is a word commonly used. It is a word that gets thrown around a lot. Most often people associate motivation with something positive but, in fact, it does not always encompass positive emotions. Fear is an effective motivating factor for many people. Stress is an example of how negative emotions trigger undesirable results. Many people freeze, break down, or panic when they are stressed--thus demonstrating a negative response to the motivation. However, someone who works harder and smarter to overcome the stress uses positive actions in response to that negative motivation.
