We should be screaming bloody murder! We've got a gang of clueless bozos steering our ship of state right over a cliff, we've got corporate gangsters stealing us blind, and we can't even clean up after a hurricane much less build a hybrid car. But instead of getting mad, everyone sits around and nods their heads when... Read More

Recently I went to renew my 37-year membership with AAA. I had not received a renewal notice. I went to the Reno AT&T phone book but was unable to find any listing for AAA. According to a recent study by the Center for Responsible Lending, that amounts to about $17.5 billion a year. That is billions of dollars that goes direct from customer pockets into bank organized and manipulated profit centers. Is this legalized bank robbery, by the bank? Let's start this missive with one obvious fact: It is the bank customer, and only the bank customer, that is in the best position to know what their actual bank balance is. It is not the Banks' responsibility to balance every customer's check book. If the customer attempts to spend more money than what is in his/her account,... Read More

This press release certainly had to be expected, as their recent announcement could only have been originated by somebody residing on a different planet. It was a sunny Saturday in Los Angeles. A perfect day for a backyard BBQ. "Hey, Slats, how's it at work, you're still at Circuit City right?, asked Sergio. Slats quaffed the last of his frosty cold one and responded, "Oh, yeah!
