There comes a time in your life,
When you walk away from
all the drama in your life and the people who create it.
You surround yourself with
people who make you laugh.
Forget the bad, and FOCUS ON THE GOOD.
Love the people who treat you right,
Pray for the ones who don’t.
Life is too short to be ANYTHING BUT HAPPY.
Falling down is a part of life,
Getting back up is living.

...more fulfilled and happier than I have ever been. For the first time ever, life is clear to me and I know what I want.
Hubby (or soon to be ex-hubby) and I have found mutual ground and are working together to finalise matters on good terms.
I now have the world at my feet and happiness greets me every day.
I will be writing about this in more detail in future posts. Maybe not specifically relating to my experience but in my search of happiness, I have spoken to so many others with similar experiences and I would like to share some of these with you.

One day a farmer’s donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn’t worth it to retrieve the donkey. He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone’s amazement he quieted down. A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at... (more)
...to ever manage this task. It is all comes down to love and relationships in the end. That is all that remains in the final weeks, love and relationships.
5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.
This is a surprisingly common one. Many did not realize until the end that happiness is a choice. They had stayed stuck in old patterns and habits. The so-called ‘comfort’ of familiarity overflowed into their emotions, as well as their physical lives. Fear of change had them pretending to others, and to their selves, that they were content. When deep within, they... (more)
As an almost middle aged woman, brought up with old school values, I have had to stand up and take notice of younger woman who have taken life by the balls and run with it. For instance - the reason I started my blog is because I attended a social networking workshop and felt rather threatened that all the younger women sitting next to me all had their own blogs - I didn't even know what a blog was until that day. I walked out that evening knowing that I had to change my way of thinking. If I was to survive in a modern world, I needed to start doing things for myself.
Smiles and happiness are SO good for the heart and soul. It is great medicine for the life of a person. The following thoughts are are fabulous reminders as to why a smile is so important.
A smile costs nothing, but gives much.
It enriches those who receive, without making poorer those who give.
It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever.
None is so rich or mighty that he can get along without it, and none is so poor, but that he can be made rich by it.
A Smile creates happiness in the home, fosters good will in business, and is... (more)
Wish I could go back and
Let out all those words,
Once held back hoping
To set things right.
Wish I’d studied less and
Learnt more of life.
Ways to be content
With what I have and am.
Wish to just sit listening to,
The old wise sea singing.
Tales of those brave souls,
Who once walked her shores.
Wish to see just the good,
Even in the worst enemy.
Just as one tries to find
A light in the dark.

I look down at the squalid piece of land
There the congestion can suffocate the life

It is a conundrum that few can figure out. People look at my smiling face , their eyebrows shoot up, their mouths drop open and they sputter,
Your happy but you have 9 kids !!
There are all sorts of components to my life, my soul and joyful spirit but one aspect to my happiness is one that most people have never considered. Large families are hilarious. and their homes even more so.
First picture a large, 1886, quaint house with all sorts of quirks. A window became a doorway to a hundred year old addition. It must have been some one with an odd sense of humour who cut... (more)
