Masters Set To Begin Tomorrow

By D. E. Carson, published on Apr 9, 2009

Tomorrow morning in Augusta, Georgia, Briny Baird, Chez Reavie and Ian Woosnam have an early tee time – well, early for those who prefer to tee off later in the day. Like, say, Tiger Woods whose tee time is 1:52 p.m. Only three men tee off later: Ryo Ishikawa, Anthony Kim and Rory McIlroy at 2:05.

Golf’s version of the World Series starts tomorrow morning at 0800 EDT at the Augusta National Golf Club and all eyes are on everyone but Tiger Woods.

Unless you happen to be one of the 95% of golf enthusiasts who actually don’t mind Tiger’s... (more)

Oakland Protest Reveals Black Racism

By D. E. Carson, published on Mar 29, 2009

You won’t read about this anywhere on the Internet because no one wanted to cover it. In fact, the only place that this story ran was on Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor and now it’s here.

We all know the story about the four Oakland police officers killed in a shoot out with Lovelle Mixon. We also know that Mixon himself was killed in the shoot out. We know that Mixon was on parole. He was tied to several rape cases and he was considered a violent criminal – carjacking and assault tend to land those labels on a person.

This American Has Had It!

By D. E. Carson, published on Mar 26, 2009

The time has come for house cleaning.  It is time to get rid of Congress – BOTH houses BOTH parties.  Obama is inept and incompetent.  Simply put he’s the moron everyone thought George W. Bush was – no Obama is, in fact, worse.  His press secretary is a dolt.  His treasury secretary is a tax-cheat.  His vice-president is a foul-mouthed elitist who couldn’t find his wallet if it were in his left hand.

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi together don’t have enough intelligence between them to convert to dynamite to blow your nose.   And yet, some how, these epitomes of stupidity are in power.

By D. E. Carson, published on Mar 19, 2009

Fox News reports that it has exclusive video of Nancy Pelosi cozying up to illegal aliens.  The story is reprinted here from the website along with commentary from yours truly.  If you want to see the video, here’s the link to the site:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi recently told a group of both legal and illegal immigrants and their families that enforcement of existing immigration laws, as currently practiced, is "un-American."

America Held Hostage: Day 51

By D. E. Carson, published on Mar 12, 2009

Calling it “imperfect”, His Royal Highness, the Anointed One, Barack Hussein Obama signed the $410 billion omnibus spending bill today officially breaking his campaign promise to veto “any bill containing any earmarks” for the second time. We were promised that government was going to be “transparent” with “more accountability” than we had under President Bush. We were promised vetoes of bills containing pork. Those promises were not just broken, they’ve been broken, thrown under the bus, wrapped around a telephone... (more)

Levitating Train Is Pork No Matter How It's Sliced

By D. E. Carson, published on Mar 9, 2009

So is there a plan for a train to run from the House of Mouse to Sin City?  Depends on who you ask.  With the elimination of the Amtrak Desert Wind in 1997 due to low ridership, travelers driving Interstate 15 from L.A. to Vegas are fighting more traffic.  Never mind what happens when the Cajon Pass is closed due to snow.

Enter proponents of the levitating train.

The levitating train only levitates a couple of inches above the rail based on magnetic forces and it actually called a Maglev train.  It’s a great concept – you build a long track from point A to point B and run a train... (more)

Godot Ain't Comin' ... Neither Is Recovery

By D. E. Carson, published on Mar 7, 2009

The recession began in December 2007.  That was fifteen months ago.  Since that time, the U.S. economy has lost 4.4 million jobs.  According to the Department of Labor more than half of those 4.4 million loses have happened in the last four months – three of which are while Obama has been president.

He promised reform and recovery.  So far he’s delivered speeches with the help of teleprompters, flown all over the United States on a “spiffy” plane, named at least four people to his cabinet who don’t think they have to pay taxes and treated British Prime Minister Gordon Brown like a red-headed... (more)

Like It Or Not Barack Obama Is A Citizen

By D. E. Carson, published on Mar 3, 2009

There are those who absolutely refuse to accept Barack Obama as president under any circumstances. Case in point, there are those still at large complaining that Barack Obama may not be eligible under the Constitution because he has not produced a birth certificate proving that he was, in fact, born in Hawaii. While it may be true that he has not produced a legal birth certificate, under Title 8 U.S.C. Ch 12, Subtitle III , Part I Section1401, Barack Obama is a natural-born citizen of the United States because he was, “born outside the geographical limits of the United... (more)

And The Winner Is...

By D. E. Carson, published on Feb 25, 2009

And you thought I wasn’t going to say anything about this year’s Academy Awards.  You should know by now that any time I can take shots at a bunch of liberal hacks I’m going to do it.

First of all, I didn’t even watch this year and the sole reason was because Sean Penn was nominated for a best actor award.  That alone was reason enough for me to go find something better to do with my time last Sunday.  But for Penn to be nominated for best actor in anything is enough reason to boycott the Academy Awards.  But then he’s nominated for a movie named for... (more)
