Who is George Soros?

By D. E. Carson, published on May 16, 2010

You’ve heard the name. But thanks to the liberal bias of the main-stream media in America, you probably don’t know much about him. And that suits George Soros just fine.

George Soros was born in Hungary in 1930 under the name György Schwartz. At the age of six, his family name was changed to Soros to hide his Jewish heritage and avoid anti-Semitism[1]. As a young teenager, he participated in the looting of the possessions of Hungarian Jews who had been rounded up and hauled off to Nazi death camps – a fact he admits in his own autobiography, Soros on Soros and subsequently addressed... (more)

Book Review: Conservative Victory

By D. E. Carson, published on May 10, 2010

Liberals love to hate Sean Hannity. It’s in their DNA. After reading Conservative Victory: Defeating Obama’s Radical Agenda it is easy to see why they hate him – he’s right and he’s got the facts to prove it.

Hannity lays out his plan for this book from the very beginning. In Part One, Hannity reviews Obama with such scrutiny one would think he was a medical examiner searching for the reason a perfectly healthy man died in his early twenties – an appropriate analogy as the book is searching for the reason America is dying. In Part Two, Hannity stresses the need to learn from history... (more)

Should Guns Be Registered

By D. E. Carson, published on May 9, 2010

Last night about 9:15 p.m. Southern Californians got another episode of their favorite pastime: a high-speed chase. It began near the campus of USC at Adams and Interstate 110 (Harbor Freeway) and lasted about two hours ending near the interchange of California State highway 14 and Backus Road, about seven miles north of Rosamond, California near Edwards Air Force Base. The entire chase covered approximately 90 miles of three California highways: Interstate 110, Interstate 5 (Golden State Freeway) and State Highway 14 (Antelope Valley Freeway).

Police reports indicate that the driver... (more)

Fat Fingers and Your Money

By D. E. Carson, published on May 8, 2010

Thursday saw the largest one hour drop on the New York Stock Exchange in the history of the exchange and no one wants to take the blame.

The theory goes that someone as yet unknown was typing in a sell order and inadvertently typed a “b” in front of “illion” instead of an “m” so that the sale order read “$16 billion” instead of “$16 million”. The result was a massive sell-off of stocks that caused the market to drop 1000 points in almost half an hour.

You’re thinking, “So what?” Well, if you’re a liberal, then you’re thinking that along with, “serves the bastards right.”

Hooray for Arizona!

By D. E. Carson, published on May 3, 2010

Arizona is now the safest state in the lower 48 United States of America. State law now authorizes law enforcement officials to actively inquire as to a person’s legal status within the United States.

Thank God SOMEBODY had the guts to stand up for the rights of the citizens of the United States and quit pandering to the whiny, thumb-sucking illegal aliens who think that they are entitled to the same rights as actual citizens. Of course those same whiny, crybaby, thumb-sucking illegal aliens are the ones who are screaming the loudest that they’re going to be profiled and sent back... (more)

This is the President of the United States?

By D. E. Carson, published on Apr 21, 2010

First off, all you left-wing progressives sit down. This piece is asking a simple question. For the second time in almost as many weeks, Barack 0bama has popped off at hecklers. Now, under ordinary circumstances, one in such a position would recognize the tendency of the opposing party to be angry, say things that are inflammatory and even take pot-shots at personal short-comings.

But not even George W. Bush went this far – even when a foreign national threw two shoes at him.

But this is unacceptable behavior from the man who is supposed to be the President of the United States.... (more)

At The Mercy of Progressives

By D. E. Carson, published on Apr 15, 2010

In 2008 Americans went to the polls to vote for a president. They thought they were electing a new leader with new plans for America. What they got, instead, was a liar. Barack Hussein Obama is a liar from the jump. He is as charismatic as a snake oil salesman but the potion he is pedaling is more dangerous than any snake oil salesman ever pushed.

He promised change but no one dared to ask, “Change TO what?” Americans who voted for the liar were all so convinced that anything was better than George W. Bush – except John McCain – that Obama was ushered into the White House without... (more)

Who Does Harry Reid Think He Is?

By D. E. Carson, published on Jan 12, 2010

The book Game Change focuses mainly on the Clintons and the 2008 presidential election. But Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) is in the crosshairs of the book as well. The book’s authors Mark Halperin and John Heilemann describe a moment during the 2008 election where Reid referred to then candidate Obama as a light-skinned African American “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted one.”

Today, speaking from Apex, Nevada, Reid said the following:

“I've apologized to the president and said to everyone within the sound of my voice that I could have used a better choice of words. I'll... (more)

An Open Letter to Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE)

By D. E. Carson, published on Dec 21, 2009

Sie, geehrter Herr, sind ein Heuchler!

Those, Senator, are the words of my great grandfather who legally immigrated to this country from Germany and, with his uncle worked on a farm in your home state of Nebraska to pay to bring the rest of his family here. So I feel compelled to speak to you in my great-grandfather’s native language because he came to America looking for a chance to make a better life for himself.

In English those words say, “You, sir, are a hypocrite!”

You publicly stated your opposition to the Senate’s Health Care bill on the grounds that you did not... (more)
