Inception Of We

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Apr 28, 2012

Inception Of We...Whatever was the spark which breathedAn infinite power beyond any rational understandingA primal kiss that touched our lips before the dawn of creationWas it included in the plan of our Father on that fateful dayDid he made it a need even greater than survivalPerception of the poetry of lifeMerging of souls as oneWhat was the thoughtThat brought it into fruitionTwo as One...Did it come from the purenessOf utter and genuine feelingWhich could never be deniedWas it infused into our very essence of beingTo me it matters not whyThat it is Is all we need...Copyright © 2012 Barbara... (more)

Is There a Why?

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Apr 16, 2012

IS THERE A WHY? Why do we give so littleWhen we have an abundanceLiving within each of usTo baptize another...Perhaps your gift is a smileWhich unknowingly savedA despairing soulAfflicted, desperately holding onTo a sliver of aspiration...Your unpretentious smileBirthed a moment of graceBestowed a gift so pureCosting you nothingSaving unconsciously a soul...

I want to abide in this worldA world devoid of selfishUnperceptive apathyEyes that are openPerceiving life as giving...Take me away from recklessnessNever to amble on that pathWhen I am goneFrom this short momentIn time and space...Let... (more)

Real Is Beautiful

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Apr 9, 2012

Being tender, open and "real" is beautiful...I do question why many people are unable to live with this part of their soul...instead living to be what others expect them to be... It is our most sacred gift from God. When your heart and soul are open, you leave your ego behind. It no longer matters what insignificant "should be, should not be, probably was, probably wasn't" entering into your thoughts. If we are aware, we will always redirect our thoughts and heart to a higher place...And yes, I pray everyday to be able to live my life in this way...Sometimes I am successful... (more)

I'll Be Your Mirror

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Apr 7, 2012

In a sense we hold the destiny of those we love in our hands. If we love and accept them, they will be empowered to accept and love themselves. WE ARE LIKE A MIRROR STANDING IN FRONT OF THEM, SAYING, " LOOK!! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. YOU'RE REALLY OK. OF COURSE YOU HAVE PROBLEMS, AND I'M NOT DENYING THAT. WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY IS THAT YOU ARE OKAY. I ACCEPT YOU WHERE EVER YOU ARE. I CARE ABOUT YOU." If we can extend acceptance like this to one another,we will all individually grow in self-understanding and self-acceptance. Whatever the symptoms are,the real problem is always the same.... (more)

A Strong Mother and Son

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Apr 4, 2012

Do you believe like me that every person comes into your life for a reason? I can't begin to tell you how very blessed I feel to be able to do the work I do. There are times that can be very challenging and very frustrating, then there are those times where you just know you are the person that will be able to reach their pain, there is something in you that will touch their soul and being, and you will both be transformed. Somehow in the wisdom of this world, you were placed on the path you needed to be on. I was reminded of this recently and this is exactly why I keep doing... (more)

A Passage To The Heart

In having worked with hundreds of people in discovering the experience of self-love, I've concluded that there is a physical location where self love resides and is felt. A person can connect with the experience of self love at any time if the passage to this location is fully open. This location is the heart. If the passage to the heart is blocked, no authentic experience of your self and love for your self can be experienced.

So, what is this passage filled with that you can't get to the experience of this love ?

This passage is filled... (more)
