Hawaiian DeepSea Drinking Water

By Angie Alaniz, published on Jul 19, 2013

I’m sure most of you have noticed that in the last decade, water consumption has tripled with prices about a hundred times more tap water. Some of us buy it just because we like it, others because they think it taste better then you have those who believe it’s just healthier. But is it worth $33.50 per bottle?

I’m not referring to a 10 or 16 oz. bottle either.

The Japanese drinking water “Hawaiian Deep Seawater”, has become so profitable that the Hawaiian government is now allowing bottlers to use a state-certified logo for their deep seawater for a supposed fee. Hawaii Deep... (more)

A Destination Designed to Close the Deal

By Angie Alaniz, published on Mar 22, 2013

Spitbank Fort is undoubtedly one of the most exclusive destinations in the world. Part of the Portsmouth’s Solent Strait, Spitbank Fort was intended to protect the heart of the British Empire from invading troops. Fortunately the threat of invasion never materialized, although it left the fort sitting empty for years to come. Recently, however, Spitbank was converted into a private hotel offering all who step afoot one remarkable island experience they’ll never forget.

Spitbank Fort is the "pinnacle of indulgence"- a place where great impressions are formed and memories made.... (more)

Not Your Daddy’s Turtlewax

By Angie Alaniz, published on Mar 22, 2013

Have you ever wondered what kind of car wax, owners of of super-cars like Porsche,McLaren, Rolls Royce, Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Lamborghini use to keep their cars looking spanking new? It probably hasn’t crossed your mind, though the story behind “the wax” used by owners of the finest cars in the world is quite a fascinating one.

These cars get their shine from? (a) Turtlewax? No! (b) The “original” paste car-wax that your dad may have used in the good ‘ole days? Wrong. (c) The wax sold at your car dealer for $50 to $60? Sorry, wrong again.

The car wax preferred... (more)

Downton Abbey

By Angie Alaniz, published on Feb 10, 2013

For those of you who aren’t watching the Masterpiece Classic British drama series “Downton Abbey” you really should as it’s worth the entire buzz it’s getting. I just tuned in last week knowing this series had actually started back in January of 2011 as part of a Masterpiece Classic anthology.

In the beginning, I downloaded only the first two episodes as I was unable to sleep one night. To my surprise, after I took the time to watch them, I had no alternative but to download the rest of Seasons I, II and III! Talk about not being able to sleep! It got worse; the next nights that... (more)

"Flight" stars Denzel Washington as Whip Whitaker, plays with fire and enjoys it but is soon forced to be seated in his own hot chair to face some facts. He's an airline pilot who's an addict and an alcoholic. In my opinion the movie succeeds in being an adult drama, as it will have you on the edge of your own chair. It’s a real crowd-pleaser.

An hour into the flight his plane starts having major mechanical failures while en route to Atlanta forces Whitaker to make an emergency landing in an open field. Engines explode and parts go flying and just before this scene we shockingly witnessed... (more)

James Bond my sexy beloved 007 British Secret Agent is back in “Skyfall”. And who wouldn’t love this character? He’s hot with all the ladies and always has a shaken-not-stirred martini. Known for his silver Aston Martin and up to date with all the newest gadgets. The ever so cool new James Bond movie comes across fit, smooth and polished even at 50 years old.

The film is directed by Sam Mendes; written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and John Logan, based on the character written by Ian Fleming; director of photography, Roger Deakins; edited by Stuart Baird and Kate Baird; music by Thomas... (more)

A Musical Point!

By Angie Alaniz, published on Nov 5, 2012

Why is it so rare for a man to believe that a woman in love cares to succeed in the little things you do?

Not the masterpiece you yourself feel the need to portray that would be foul play.

Take David by Michelangelo is he such a work of art?

Or was his real masterpiece in his actions love of life and music he sang from his heart!

Like David it’s harmony feeling together complete as one.

The sound brings color its fun and comes easy to the ones who really are open to love.

Nonetheless how complex it must be for the ones who once promised love yet shut... (more)

What Am I?

By Angie Alaniz, published on Oct 23, 2012

Specular reflections of visible light, who came up with this device?

Reflecting identity can sometimes have our own contorted expression our image can be grimace obscenity.

It can easily effect our own persona how fair is that?

Who’s twisted vivid idea came up with that?

It seems so unfair just to glare when I’m bare standing in front of you.

Observation bounces off so fast we put ourselves on probation to avoid our own litigation.

Even so the fact remains indeed it’s guaranteed women alone adore you.

A queen, a princes, a mother a whore would... (more)

For Sarah Darling

By Angie Alaniz, published on Oct 19, 2012

Sometimes it’s easy to see

Sometimes it comes naturally

Sometimes it makes the body feel rotten and rare

Sometimes countenance is annoyance and we’re left with no assurance

Sometimes appearance is hidden and forbidden and won’t be overridden

Sometimes love is a boxing glove, it beats you up

Sometimes it can tell you, you've been deprived as it never arrived, it wouldn’t have survived

“Sadness” is just plain madness, it comes to steal and... (more)

Love At First Sight

By Angie Alaniz, published on Sep 22, 2012

There he stood staring back at me a look so deep it enticed me.

Shy at first I turned and looked away.

Who was he to do this to me?

What the hell am I thinking no time to debate.

I liked it of course he was so attractive.I must be proactive.I must turn around once more where he stood.

As I glanced the room entranced quickly drawing him near.So fast in fact I took a step back..."ouch" ...and just like that ... there he stood over me.

“Checkmate my dear” he whispered in my ear.“No hunt is needed not now or ever it’s meant... (more)
