Let’s start with the obvious, Living room! Yes, it’s the essential part of your home as it’s where you invite your guests, so it needs to look enticing and comfortable.

You can always do as little as changing the sofa or couch covers to give them a new look. Add new cushions to complement the sofa covers. You can get a new rug and curtains to change the entire look of the room. Here you are not replacing the furniture, but with little investment, you are giving a new look.

If your budget allows adding some show pieces, wall paintings, wall shelves to give a new look and feel to the living space. And of course, you can change setting accordingly.

Coming to the next prominent place in your home, kitchen! If you are bored of your kitchen and need to give it a new vibe with least investment, then keep reading. Start with changing the cupboards. Well, it only requires papers similar to wallpapers. These cupboard papers look like actual wood covers or wood paints and are very cheap and come with easy DIY.

You can always add some storage racks and organizers; there is still room for more in the kitchen. Buy some anti-skid mats to cover the flooring to complete the look. If you have a kitchen window, don’t forget to place few plants and pots there.

To give a new look to your dining area, start with your dining table. Dining tables with benches are a trend now. Benches are very easy to make at home. You can get all the raw material like wood and fittings from a superstore near you. Replace dining chair from one side with a DIY bench you made at home. Place beautiful placemats and runners and some fresh flowers in the vase to finish the look. You can also change the dining chair pads if your dining chairs have cushions as well.

To complete the home improvement with least budget, add some finishing touches to your home. Like painting the doors and windows. Getting small home improvement items like key holders, wall shelves, bookshelves, magazine stand, stand lamps, wall stickers and carpets or rugs can work wonders in changing the entire look of your home with very little investment.

Always remember there is a thumb rule to a good home, “ limited furniture, good furnishings and well-complemented lighting that are appropriately adjusted according to the available area.”
