This is a mean green fighting machine and can help support weight loss as well as preventing diseases such as heart disease and arthritis.

Blueberries are a tasty and delightful snack, they’re also rich in vitamin C, E, A and K making them a jam packed little berry of pure goodness. They’re also praised for their high antioxidant abilities which support the body in vital disease protection.

Goji Berries are another great berry which are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. A great addition to your morning smoothie!

Eggs should never be underestimated! Just one egg contains vitamin b12, vitamin A, vitamin b2, vitamin b5, and 22% of your selenium RDA. On top of this they also include iron, zinc, calcium, potassium, zine, manganese and folate. Phew. That’s a lot of vitamins and proteins there!

Spinach is fantastic for promoting bone health and working as an anti-inflammatory. A mere one cup of spinach contains 12% of your recommended daily calcium intake. It’s also a great ingredient to use in juices too!

Salmon is extremely nutrient dense and is a fantastic source of protein! Oily fish can not only reduce your risk of heart disease but also help to prevent Alzheimer’s and autoimmune diseases include RA and MS. Try and include an oily fish into your diet at least once a week!

Seeds are also a surprising source of wellbeing. Chia, hemp and flax seeds all offer unique benefits. Chai seeds are particularly popular at the moment and can be used as a substitute for non-fish eaters providing essential omega 3.

Kiwis are ideal if you’re looking to keep your skin firm and maintain the healthiness of your bones and teeth. And who isn’t looking to do that? They’re also relatively cheap too, not to mention tasty!

yeah nice post JaneK but apart from spinach and certainly a few other cheap to purchase foods good for you, bit frustrating price-wise. Take blueberries for instance, hellish expensive for small packets. Where i live there's an abundance of fresh veg pretty cheap, eggs also, and if we are what we eat there would be quite a few burgers walking round but each to his her own i guess. Eggs are great but you have to watch the cholestrol but what annoys me is the constant ongoing reversal of opinion by 'experts' in the field of nutrition constantly changing the parameters of what is and isn't good for us. Guess that's why people settle for a burger in frustration which can be healthy with the right internals i guess. Cheers.

This should pretty much give you a good boost to exercise. Superfoods + exercise (and proper hydration) = super you! However, if you still feel a bit sluggish even with proper diet and exercise, you should pay a visit to your doctor as there might be an underlying cause such as hormonal issues. Cheers!
