However, to everyone’s surprise, Jaguar Land Rover acquired the entire collection for a whopping $170 million.

From Lord Mountbatten’s Mini Traveller and Winston Churchill’s Austin, to a Bentley owned by singer Elton John; James Hull’s classic collection has it all. The 53-year old doctor spent tens of millions of dollars filling a number of warehouses with these classic cars. The fact that the cars have been maintained in outstanding condition, speaks volumes of Dr. Hull’s love for these eye candies. Most of these cars have a fascinating history behind them.
