A Destination Designed to Close the Deal

Designed to Close the Deal

A destination guaranteed to leave deep, positive impressions on the persons feet you're trying to please.

Spitbank Fort is undoubtedly one of the most exclusive destinations in the world. Part of the Portsmouth’s Solent Strait, Spitbank Fort was intended to protect the heart of the British Empire from invading troops. Fortunately the threat of invasion never materialized, although it left the fort sitting empty for years to come. Recently, however, Spitbank was converted into a private hotel offering all who step afoot one remarkable island experience they’ll never forget.

Spitbank Fort is the "pinnacle of indulgence"- a place where great impressions are formed and memories made. Each of the nine bedrooms is as luxurious as it is unique. In the past eight of these rooms once formed integral parts of Britain’s air and sea defense systems, acting as gun emplacements to warn away enemy vessels. Today the rooms are nothing less than decadence personified.

The rooms have been stunningly decorated to make the most of their historic charm. Each of these rooms has it's own story to tell. Classic design, infused with a modern twist, these rooms offer all the mod-cons one would expect from a luxury hotel; including wireless internet, televisions and so much more.

There's even a professional private-island team on hand to take care of your every need. Spitbank, the ultimate private island for forming "lifetime bonds" whether it be exploring the wine cellar, diving on a fishing adventure, or relaxing over an evening of whiskey tasting in a secluded lounge.

It's difficult to picture a more ideal setting for "closing" your biggest "deal" - personal or professional. This is a destination guaranteed to leave deep, positive impressions on the feet who set foot on, and provide each guest with a one-of-a-kind experience that they'll talk about for years to come.

It's amazing...certainly, I would bid for this place...far from the madding crowd...I am also imagining the Ack-Ack Air Defence Gun(Shilka or IL 70 guns) placed there...From the archives I retrieve the sound of Blazing Guns(Boom...Boom).Blend of the two era to me is so enticing to experience. Thanks Angie for sharing with us…

Nice to see you here after long time…
