The water I thirst for!

by Betty B. (writer), Bucyrus, April 27, 2012

we are all looking for something, something to sustain us, Jesus is the living water and truth.

At the well of life,
my days get hard and the land
I stand in is parched.

The days get long and thirst builds up
inside my soul,
the water I thirst for is your love deep within,

the water of life builds the life within,
the water of love fills my soul deep inside,

I take a stand with the water I thirst for,
the land is dry until you take me in your arms
and you give me the water I thirst for.

You take my hand and my days,
you revive my mind,
you give me the water I thirst for,

so deep inside my soul,
I long for your touch,
oh, how I love you so much,
you are the water I thirst for.

Exceptional poem, which quench the thirst of a reader even...I once again say Betty, simplicity in your expression is an asset and that’s how I see you so smoothly flow with your words and emotions as one...Keep it up…I always enjoy reading your poetry.

We are all plants planted in the garden of The Lord; it is a living animated garden and the Holy Spirit written in his word is the water of life. Weather we know it or not we are always thirsty and continually in need of the Most High`s sunshine.

See! Another inspirational testiment, thank you.

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, (Ephesians 5:26 KJV)

Nourishment for freedom.... Bath and baptized by the truth of the word...
