News programs and papers have long ago abandoned the tenets of journalism, in favor of rallying the personal point of view of those that run them, and those that fund them. It’s become quite disgusting and really sad that you can no longer just simply get the news. I mean, just an objective report about what’s happening. Instead, you are presented with the seen through the viewpoint of those presenting it. That’s not journalism...that’s spin.

Let me be crystal clear in the assertion I’m about to make. Newspapers should not be endorsing anyone...except the reader. The same... Read More

Have you ever been to a party, or other form of social gathering, drinking, talking, laughing, even dancing when all of a sudden, in a blink of an eye, the mood suddenly pauses, even swings to a deafening silence? The cause? Someone, somewhere, decided to say something inappropriate causing everyone to take notice, clearing the room, looking for the nearest exit to run toward. And they didn’t need to be spoken words. It could be something written, an expression you gave at just the wrong time, or a thumbs up or down you clicked in social media land. No matter what, and no matter how hard we... Read More

Being a writer, I was wondering if being a woman was a reason why people would read or not the stories. See us woman have been the backbone for many successful men. Most Presidents and PrimeMinisters have had woman be part of the team. To some we have had wonder women Prime Ministers.

Many of the woman hidden behind the Men that have changed our nation. Have gone home to a cooked meal and a loving person to talk the problems of the world over. Knowing all the time that they had the ability to change the world well at least their country for the better.

It's strange that many... Read More

Our jobs and the people we work with are where we spend most of our time. Each workplace has a multitude of personalities within it. There are those that are easy to get along with and then there are those who are difficult. The problem in our workplace is, that no matter what type of personalities involved, the object remains the same. All parties must cooperate in getting the work done and be productive in accomplishing our tasks.

We will never get along with everyone. Difficult people refuse to get along creating unnecessary amounts of pressure and stress in the workplace. This... Read More

Believe it or not, there have been studies on the phenomenon of "love at first sight". I wasn't sure if this was possible or just a saying until I experienced it first hand. Scientists believe much of it hinges on your state of mind at that precise moment when eyes meet for the first time. Most often when this happens, both parties are in a place in their minds and life where they are ready and willing to fall in love. The door is open so to speak. Being stressed, having issues on your mind etc. you are far less likely to experience love at first sight as the door is not fully open... Read More

Do you ever watch “The Big Bang Theory”? The title of that show got me thinking… Just for a moment imagine walking through the halls of the most amazing museums in Italy, wandering through echoing halls, viewing works of art created by the most famous artists of all time. These pieces – paintings, sculptures all expertly crafted long before you were even a thought. Now imagine some bozo saying something like this – “Wow, I would really like to know what amazing cosmic accident happened to result in the beautiful creation of these??” If you saw that you would probably think this person... It’s funny how two parts of a whole are so completely different. I’m talking about our heads and our hearts. Both parts are very important yet they have completely different agendas. Take our heads for instance. Better yet take our minds. Even when we are sleeping our minds are busy. I don't think our minds will be happy unless they are active in some way. Whether it’s logical thinking or fantasies, our minds are constantly at work on something. Now our hearts seem to have a way of processing things as well but with a far different goal in mind. Our hearts essentially seek... Read More

The world we live in currently, one would be very hard pressed to experience rational peace and genuine freedom. "Peace", is a rare and almost extinct commodity. It is a shadow in the memory of humanity, a mere moment in the blink of an eye that we seldom...

Nice piece Credo as usual. You mention in context at the end "for fear of making war with the Gods." The keystone of peace lies crumbling, simply because the 'Gods of war' reign supreme despite race, religion, etc. Hypothetically if religion didn't exist...

I have serious doubts about the reality of Christ, but I have no doubt that if he existed, he did not look the way as the image commonly depicted in the U S and the rest of the West does. As the early Christians made war on pagan civilizations and cultures,...
