Famous People Who Got Banned from Casinos

If you get banned from a place, it means you did something truly embarrassing that you never-ever want to remember doing. Still, all of those places are certainly more judgmental than casinos, where all sorts of people go to gamble. Therefore, it takes a lot to get banned from a casino, be it a land-based casino in the US or an online casino in UK. You should also understand that having celebrities at their casinos is great marketing for them so it really takes a lot for those casinos to ban the celebrities.

Allen Iverson

Iverson got banned from several casinos and all included poor behavior. In one casino, he was banned for urinating in the public. The famous NBA player also got banned from two more casinos for being a bad loser. Allen drank and lost a lot which made him angry and he would curse and throw things at people.

Paris Hilton

Hilton, in her time, was the most talked-about celebrity in terms of scandals. She is also banned from a Las Vegas Strip casino due to being arrested at the entrance to the Wynn. Paris got arrested for cocaine possession. She actually claimed it was gum, which of course, everyone has at one time in their life mistaken gum for cocaine or the other way around. It is pure logic. Hilton admitted her guilt and received two hundred hours of community service. Her boyfriend at that time was working as co-chief of security in the two casinos and of course, he lost his job.

Ben Affleck

Affleck has reportedly been counting cards in blackjack which got him a ban from playing at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas Strip. It was never confirmed that Ben was counting cards but he was winning too much and prior to playing there, he actually played at other casinos where he also earned quite a lot which could only be explained if he was counting cards.

Having already been an excellent poker player, counting cards seems like the fitting strategy for a player who seeks to beat the edge. Still, even though card counting isn’t illegal, it will get you banned.

Casinos like celebrities in their places because they bring more players to the casino floor. In spite of this, they won’t go over some boundaries even with celebrities.
