According to the type of eating disorder. anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder are the most common types of eating disorder. And their symptoms are as follows.

Eating disorders nowadays are the most serious condition which everyone is facing. It is nothing else but the persistent eating behaviour that negatively impacts your health, your ability to function in the important area of life and your emotions.

The most common type of eating disorder is anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder. the most eating disorder involves focusing on your body shape and food, your weight and leading to dangerous eating behaviours.

This behaviour can significantly affect your body's ability to get adequate nutrition. And the most common problem is the eating disorderes in adolescence. And it could harm the heart, digestive system and teeth and mouth and lead to other diseases.

Eating disorders often develop in the teen and young adult years, although they can develop at other ages. with treatment, you can return to healthier eating habits and sometimes reverse serious complications caused by an eating disorder.

Symptoms of it, vary according to the type of eating disorder. anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder are the most common types of eating disorder. And their symptoms are as follows.

Bulimia nervosa

Bulimia (boo-lee-me-uhh) nervosa often simply called bulimia is a serious, potentially life-threatening eating disorder. Many people with bulimia also restrict their eating during the whole day, which often leads to more binge eating and purging. During this, you eat a large amount of food in a very short period of time.

And then try to rid yourself from the extra calories in a very unhealthy way Because of the fear of weight gain from overeating, you may force vomiting also, exercise too much or use other methods to get rid of Bulimia Nervosa. If you have bulimia, you are preoccupied with your body shape and weight and may judge yourself harshly and severely for your self-perceived flaws. In Bulimia, you could be normal weight or a bit overweight.

Binge-eating disorder

When you have Binge-eating disorder you regularly start eating too much (binge) and feel a lack controlling your eating. you may eat quickly or eat more food than intended, even when you don't feel hungry at all. And you may Even continue eating long after you are uncomfortably full.

Generally, after a Binge, you feel disguised, guilty and ashamed of the behaviour of overeating you possess. But you are not going to try to compensate your behaviour with any kind of exercises like someone with Bulimia or anorexia. But your embarrassment can lead to eating alone to hide your bingeing. A new round of bingeing occurs usually once in a week. In bingeing you may be normal weight, overweight or even underweight.

Anorexia nervosa

Anorexia (an-o-REK-see-uh) Nervosa is commonly known as anorexia. It is a potentially life-threatening eating disorder which is characterized by abnormally low body weight, intense fear of gaining weight, and a distorted perception of weight and shape. When you possess anorexia, you try to lose weight and excessively limits your calories, or use other methods to reduce weight such as using laxatives or diet aids or vomiting after eating. When you make efforts to reduce weight even when you are already underweight can lead to several health problems also.
