Letter To My Boss

By Uttam Gill, published on Aug 8, 2013

My Dear Sir,

From the semantics, I wish to rise above and truthfully wish to say things, which perhaps, would ruffle you. And to be very fair to my grooming and decency, I never wish to say things, to hurt you, if you take this letter as one. If my emotions giving me the liberty to be mighty full to say things, then what I perceive in my observations, surely needs to be worded in fair language of communication. I cease to get drawn into an endless discussions with an individual who refuse to listen but to me you are not an individual; you are more than that. You are not an ordinary man... (more)

A Prayer For All The Innocent Suffering

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Jul 8, 2013

...blindly among

What hurts your heart

To look at....?

I have never been able to close my eyes to those in need. I pray I never do. Yes, at times I have cursed and wondered the purpose of being blessed with seeing what is not on the surface. That somehow, my vision needs to go deeper. Why do I read such pain in eyes I do not know? What am I being directed to see?

Years ago, I realized that through my own pains and traumas, I was given a gift. The gift being awareness to take that and use it to help raise another's soul.

Seeing, the Enemy of Sight

By D. Sager, published on Apr 9, 2013

He reached out, with tentative explorations, in the heavy darkness. Night and day seem the same in a world where light refuses to shine. Colors are there, regardless of illumination, and he could on occasion feel them as real as the cold chill that accompanied this new life. When the vision of the journey's end is robbed, and the consuming desire for just the next step outweighs all worry about the end of the day, a strange liberation occurs in the mind. Its' as though the ability to look far down the road robbed him of the necessity of realizing each step. This is where he found... (more)

I Believe

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Dec 1, 2012

...of such gratitude that I thought I wanted to share this . I know life can be difficult and there are times where we may want to just give up or give in...but please remember you have so much more strength than you may know...

The last couple of weeks I have had surgery on my vision over the years has gotten worse and worse and I was told years ago that I may not be able to read at some point in time. I have never spoken about this as I prefer always to focus on the positive and seldom will mention any problems I have had in life. The reason my vision was effected is... (more)

Lost In Complaency

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Nov 17, 2012

Is your life a compromise?

Doing what others dictate

In the process losing self

Feeling pieces of your soul

Falling into the abyss ...

Erasing your dreams

Living a safe life

Leaving you hallow

Regulated by the ticking

Of the clock...

Where did your smile go?

Why did you let them steal this?

Will you ever reach beyond?

Reconnect with your beautiful

Essence of sacred truth...

Bemoaned silence still lives

Though hidden from those

Judging our every breath

Suffocated... (more)

Seeing Things Through Rose Colored Glasses

By jonpercepto, published on Nov 27, 2011

...did I know how much it had effected my perceptions about so many things.

The first thing I would reach for in the morning were my glasses, usually very expensive and so thick that I could never hope to get frames that were fashionable. Everything was so out of focus that when my vision worsened I had no clue what was happening until I started noticing a perfectly formed halo with rainbow colors around lights, especially at night.

Perhaps this was a vision from above sent to me as an indication I was evolving spiritually, I initially thought, until crossing the... (more)
