By Reza B, published on Mar 15, 2007

...novel the Satanic Verses (again, outrage directed in the wrong direction—who cares what Salman writes, don’t like it, don’t read it, but for God's sake don't draw attention to it); • Supporting clandestine operations aimed at civilian targets (some call this terrorism, and it is wrong no matter who’s doing the bank rolling/training/supplying; this means you too Washington, London, Paris, Moscow, Riyadh, Damascus, Tel Aviv, New Delhi, Islamabad, Tokyo [okay maybe not Tokyo, sumimasen); • Electing a leader—Mr.... (more)

Is Bank of America jeopardizing our national security?

By Amo, published on Mar 5, 2007

... And if so isn’t Bank of America aiding and abiding in a criminal act, by the very nature of their actions? And what of criminal acts that have been or may be committed by illegal’s using funds provided by Bank of America to perhaps fund illegal activities or worse yet acts of terrorism? Saved By The Blonde

By Lynn Downey, published on Mar 1, 2007

...residential building at Oak and Fillmore, and then ran a produce store on Mission Street in the Excelsior. We were celibate vegetarians who fasted every Sunday, although Floyd felt himself exempt from the celibacy rule because he singled me out more than once for a spot of sexual terrorism. Despite this, I was committed to the work of the CSC, which held regular church services for the public. ...on TV and the media. This is ever so apparent in today’s anxiety ridden, high-tech, electronic world where more and more it seems we are heading full speed ahead toward a nuclear holocaust. Everywhere one turns, it seems that the material energy is getting more intense. There is War, terrorism, diseases, floods, high gas prices, global warming and famine. But as the old adage goes, “There is nothing so certain as death and taxes.” This is... (more)

By Risa Peris, published on Oct 21, 2006

...Are we then, as Americans, supposed to sit back and wait for the demise of the Administration or the demise of our civilization? How do we counteract evocative imagery, propaganda and grasp hold of our ability to think accurately rather than ethnically about the current situation regarding terrorism? In World War II it was the Allied propaganda that pummeled the Axis propaganda. Given that, it leaves the Democrats little choice but to step up their own propaganda campaigns that need to be more vivid than simply accusing the Republicans of being"unconstitutional". That is hardly a... (more)

By Ariel, published on Sep 23, 2006

...of international officials said that the information couldn't be confirmed. Some however talk of a fabricated report from the Saudis. IntelCenter director Ben N. Venzke said that he would be surprised if this report was true, adding that Al-Qaida would have been the first to release an official report of his death in order to control the way it unfolds. If this report happened to be true, is bin Laden's death going to change anything in the war against terrorism? Since 9/11, the world's most wanted terrorist seems to appear more like a fading shadow of Al-Qaida than an actual threat.
