An Idealist's Prayer

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Sep 28, 2013

Living in this world

Which often feels foreign

Bereft of caring, compassion, soul

I question so much in my search

To know, to feel, to expand my heart

To transcend my soul to a higher purpose

Struggling against man made complacency

Lost at times within my own self...

Putting my hopeful fingers to this canvas

The blood flowing through my veins,

Merged with the vision of my soul

Painting my path, holding faith to my essence

Reaching beyond what lies on the surface

To an eclipse, dancing in the memories

Sacred Thoughts

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Sep 20, 2013

In the inception of

The breaking dawn

Radiant, gleaming , beckoning

Glistening upon the dew drops

Flowers opening to blossom

As a reflection of a Mother's gift

The wind delighting in the fragrance

The aura and aroma scenting this beauty

I come to you with prayer on lips

To never leave you

As I am your own

Surrendered in the divinity

Of understanding, compassion

Tranquil gifts of reverent homage

Belonging as the birds are to flight

The water to the sea

The trees to the forest

I... (more)

QUESTIONS I have questions to ask You may not like this But it is who I am Have always been I will not change If you need me to Than that alone tells me It will never be alright... Yes, I ask a lot to be Understood through faith The ability to perceive intentions Searching beyond what lays Obviously on and within surface Life is simple and complex As am I and always Can you do this? ... If you know my heart Why is this not possible? Look me in the HEART Do not focus on what you see Feel what is "real" and "true" After you have done this If you still have doubts... (more)

Disturbed within,

troubled are the waters of deep dark sin.

Without a tale does not tell,

that crawling underneath all is not well.

Froth and thick mire,

disguise the water and lay straights dire.

Lift my head Spirit on High,

knowledge of the forbidden bring great sighs.

Wrapped irony and ruse,

dark times bring a soul's purple bruise.

Who can see the through,

all the pains and sins that shadows knew.

Disturbed again,

troubled thoughts are quiet atrocities within.

Morphic Fields - New evidence of interconnectedness

By Alethea, published on Apr 22, 2012

Dr. Rupert Sheldrake is causing a ruckus in the science world. He has done work at Cambridge University as well as Harvard, and is no doubt a smart man. So why has he caused such an uproar within the scientific community and with skeptics?

Morphic resonance and causative formation. I'll translate for you.

Fields, like magnetic fields, are regions of influence that extend beyond matter. They are physical, but not material. Based on fields, a morphogenetic field guides the form of organisms and other energy components. For example, if a section of a growing embryo is removed, the... (more)

Our helper, understanding

By Betty B., published on Feb 21, 2012

...across several things I wanted to share about the different kinds of Christians. As I was studying I also came across the parable of the sower. We can compare which kind of Christian belongs to each seed or seeds. As we go by day by day living our lives as Christians we know that the Holy Spirit came to lead us into truth John 16:13. I always pray for the filling of the Holy Spirit. There are so many teachings out there so we have to really know and understand what God says in his word. It's not about what we feel. It's about trusting and accepting. So, now I pray for understanding. I... (more)

What Comes Out-Not What Goes In!

By Betty B., published on Dec 10, 2011

Matthew 15:10-12 (New International Version) 10 Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen and understand. 11What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.” 12 Then the disciples came to him and asked, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this?”

Are we to busy telling others what they should do, what they should eat or not eat or put into their bodies? Why are we judging and condemning? Jesus spoke in the above verses about what goes into the someones mouth does not defile them, it's... (more)

Sometimes, my spirit yearns for freedom,

to become whole,

it craves solitude and light,

yearning to breathe free,

the moment still.

I feel the pull of forces taking me back in time,

into a never-lived eternity…

soaring like a bird above the clouds,

harking through the spaces between the worlds

I search for the Things That Are…

Sometimes my soul walks deeply into the forest alone

dappled light barely penetrating the leaves of the tree,

I see visions of angels in the mist

and hear the sound of music from... (more)

The Voice

By Shari G, published on Oct 5, 2011

... been with you since you were a child. You know, the one that dreamt your dream for the first time. The one that if you had no obstacles, you’d drop everything to do it. I know you know what I mean. That voice keeps coming back because that voice wants to stop being ignored. That voice is your spirit that wants to express itself and until you truly let your spirit do the walking in your life, you will continue to hear it and more than anything, feel unfulfilled on some level. Don’t get me wrong, the love of your life will show up or has shown up and that makes you content; for awhile.... (more)
