Russia declares war on Ukraine. As USA warn retaliation

By Shaun Gibson, published on Mar 1, 2014

...all members of the Federation Council unanimously. The Russian parliament unanimously voted Saturday to grant President Vladimir Putin permission to mobilize the country’s military in Ukraine and asked that the country’s ambassador in Washington be recalled after earlier statements by President Obama. Putin says the move is needed to protect ethnic Russians and the personnel of a Russian military base in Ukraine’s strategic region of Crimea. But the request came a day after Obama warned Moscow that “there will be costs” if it intervenes militarily in Ukraine. ”I’m submitting... (more)

Audie Murphy Petition Draws Major VIP Endorsements

By usmc_snco, published on Sep 22, 2013

... not only by the citizens of Texas, but all Americans. This would most certainly be the greatest of Murphy's many honors and assuredly his greatest legacy. Undoubtedly, he would be most proud to be honored as the "poster boy" for all veterans who suffer with this debilitating illness.

President Obama would be well served in honoring the life and remarkable legacy of the indelible Audie Murphy, one who has been overlooked by every previous president for this honor since his untimely passing in 1971.

The petition is due to close in the coming days and the formal recommendation... (more)

The Secret Code

By Coach Phatty, published on Jul 22, 2013

... note to all of them, and not one was able to come up with an answer. A special emergency meeting was called by the staff. All branches of the military, counter intelligence, CIA, FBI were called in, and the best minds were unable crack the code.

After a sleepless night, a now humbled President Obama picked up the phone and called the former president, and asked him the meaning of the note.

George Bush chuckled and replied— ” you’re holding it upside down”!

I hope this cute little story brought a little smile to your face today!

Highjacking the Reagan legacy

By Amo, published on Apr 17, 2012

... yet), control the dramatic events of opposing weather extremes and can only bare witness to the devastation that these events produce

However, in the rough and tumble world of politics diametrically opposed ideologies can effortlessly merge into one, as outlined in a recent speech by President Obama. In which he draws a comparison between himself and President Reagan. In a 30 second snippet President Reagan is seen outlining his vision for tax reform. In which he references the discrepancies within the overall tax system, and draws an analogy between a working class bus driver who... (more)

USA Midterm Elections, Hard Moments for Democrats.

By MUGISHO N.THEOPHILE, published on Nov 3, 2010 maintain the energy of the election a year ago but fought to tie together the excitement that was generated by Obama’s candidacy. In the views of Michael Steele, chairman of the Republican National Committee, the Virginia victory is a real and strong “blow” to the Democrats and President Obama in particular.

Actually, this depicts an obvious indication that voters are not at all pleased and even satisfied with the president’s program which is very liberal. The White House spokesman Robert Gibbs had played down the day’s elections, warning against drawing too many... (more)

Charting Fox News

By Ray Colon, published on Sep 5, 2010

Many people, including me, have tired of what we find to be objectionable and biased reporting from Fox News.

Unlike many of my progressive friends, I do watch Fox News -- but not exclusively, which is what I believe is precisely the problem with the typical Fox News viewer.

Lack of diversity.

Now, I don't mean that to be construed as a double entendre relating to Fox News viewers, although I think that it would have been a good one if I were that type of guy. What I actually mean is that the reliance on a single source for news guarantees an unrealistic understanding... (more)

Ground Zero Mosque Debate Sidesteps true issues, Who Cares?

By BookLoveHer, published on Aug 18, 2010

I’m on my second cup of coffee, so please excuse me if my hyperactive mind causes me to say something which will offend some and berate others. However, I find it ironic that everyone is up and arms about the proposed Mosque at Ground Zero, considering the fact that the true terrorists behind the attack on September 11th were actually linked to the Bush administration and Zionist banksters who actually benefited from the fall of the twin towers. Did I lose you? Good, stay with me. Bear with me as I untangle a very intricate, tangled up mess. Before you get yourself worked up, this is not a... (more)

Dear President Obama,

By Libdrone, published on Aug 14, 2010

Dear President Obama,

Thank you so much for writing to me. Why hardly a day goes by that I don't receive an e-mail that shows you as the sender. There are also all those e-mails your political and governmental staffs send out with your name prominently in the subject line. So often my e-mail inbox just seems to be Obama all the time; indeed I don't think you've ever slowed the extraordinary volume of mail you direct at me since I first signed up on your campaign web site back in 2007. I was so proud that you seemed to folllow the lead of Howard Dean's game-changing campaign... (more)

To VAT or Not to VAT: That is the Question

By Amo, published on Apr 17, 2010

“To be, or not to be: that is the question”, the opening line is of course from “Hamlet”, and throughout the centuries this masterpiece of a drama, along with its timeless soliloquy has been studied and dissected by countless theologians and philosophers through the years. What was the profound message behind these immortal words?

Many scholars have interpreted Shakespeare’s words has a choice between ("to be") and life of silent acceptance…or ("not to be") as a primary focus of Hamlet's dilemma. However, if we take those timeless words with their profound meaning within the context... (more)
