The Politics of Common Sense

By DKIdea, published on Nov 5, 2012

...our candidates to a higher standard than ourselves...when they are just like us, in every way. This high expectation has them never wanting to admit when they are in error...when that is exactly what they need to do, and then move on.

Let me quickly highlight a scene from the second Presidential debate, then move onto our President’s bag of woes. I want to clear this issue up...since nobody seems to be able to make sense of what they watched...or just can’t believe their lying eyes. Mitt Romney said...quite clearly, that the President didn’t call the Libya attacks “acts of ... (more)

Politician - the literal meaning

By Lartinos, published on Nov 10, 2011

...such as, "Man never landed on the Moon" and the likes. But what these politicians are doing is conspiring against their own people for their own personal gain. (and the gain of their other morally bankrupt 1%er friends)

People like Herman Cain,Rick Perry, Mitt Romney, and our current president O'Bama are all perpetrators of conspiring against the people of the United States and are backed by big business. By M H Ahssan, published on Nov 1, 2011

The presidential term of President Pratibha Patil is due to expire in July 2012 and speculation seems to have already commenced in the power circles of New Delhi about her successor. The July 2012 Presidential Elections are crucial for the Congress Party as whoever is elected as President would be overseeing the 2014 General Elections which promise to be hotly contested and with the Congress Party at a disadvantage with Indian public opinion in the manner its Government handled the social activists movements of Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev on issues of corruption. The next President is likely... (more)

USA President Achieves Remarkable Victories

By MUGISHO N.THEOPHILE, published on Dec 23, 2010

...The signing of the don't tell bill, don't ask is finally a reality. This depicts a positive and motivating end of this year and a new start of the coming one. Actually, this means that reports of his political demise are greatly exaggerated.

In fact, it would be nonsense to note President Obama off. The GOP now has a great shot in 2012, but 23 months is a very long time in politics. President Obama is showing an impressive new ruthlessness with his liberal base that will augur well for him in a national election.

Obama’s remarkable day, only six weeks after disastrous ... (more)

By Mritunjay, published on Nov 30, 2009

A statement by a French official has put Pakistan's foreign minister, Shah Mahmood Qureshi, in an embarrasing situation. Qureshi, in May this year had gone on record saying that France is ready for a transfer of civilian nuclear energy technology to Pakistan. The office of the French President Nicolas Sarkozy, had then said that they are offered to help Pakistan improve its "nuclear safety" capability.
