...unaccountable for their actions regardless of what they smoke, which brand they drink, who they vote for, and what God they worship, biblical or not--a future and country where our basic freedoms, landscape, culture, and American way-of-life is being challenged and dictated too by lawless politics and biased entertainment and media outlets. Times are definitely changing.
Aside from our country’s youth, ethnic differences play a large part in political, social, and cultural awareness. Where a person comes from and what race they’re born into more often than not determines how... (more)
At present it is very difficult to find anything positive about China’s excessive control over its society. Some critics are also of the opinion that this very controlling nature has fueled protests in Xinjiang region. This province has been known as a home for Uighur Muslims. Recently, china had made every effort o curb every extremist activity in the region by cracking down on terrorist outfits. In the wake of killing civilians in a bombing, China had also ordered taking down of any information from the internet which could aid in the development of any terrorist material.
I hear people complain about the government all the time. I’m a frequent complainer myself as I’m astonished daily with the incompetence and outright contempt those administering order seem to have for the people. Understand, I’m not anti-government, I’m anti-bad government. I’m anti-ridiculous abuses of power. I’m anti-doing the same things that aren’t working and expecting them to work the millionth time around. I’m anti-not trying to fix a broken system.
I can understand if you throw your hands up at the idea of fixing the system, after all…it seems like such a monumental undertaking.... (more)

#1 Nazi Germany was a totalitarian Big Brother police state that constantly monitored everything that German citizens did.
Today, the bureaucrats that run things in the United States are also absolutely obsessed with constantly trying to monitor us. For example, there are now control freaks that inspect the lunches of preschool students in certain areas of the country in order to make sure that they contain the “right” foods….
A preschooler at West Hoke Elementary School ate three chicken nuggets for lunch Jan. 30 because the school told her the lunch her mother packed... (more)

The government’s multi-billion-dollar effort to clean up the nation’s largest nuclear dump has become its own dysfunctional mess.

...will change? Even if that change is for the better?
I watch and marvel, and despair, at how brainwashed we all have become to be so polarized into “conservative” and “liberal”…Republican and Democrat. Why can we not all be Independents and use our good sense to realize that politics has become all monkey business, but we are the ones having the banana dangled in front of us?
Why are we constantly doing the same thing year after year, but complain when we don’t see a different result? Why is the idea of following the Constitution such a tough pill to swallow? Why... (more)
...serviceable tool to blind the will and wishes of the men who are eager to devote their most precious priorities in its path (religion). The renaissance period for Europe might have started a few centuries back but some would argue that the one who haven’t separated the two yet (Religion and Politics) are still living in the dark era. In the west the church might have lost its glorified era but in the third world countries the same “church” is still in power. In these astern countries the oppressed (which are even tardier) are allowed once every few years to decide which particular... (more)
