Tranquil Thoughts

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Feb 27, 2014

...caressed by the radiant moonlight

Blessings as ephemeral clouds dance on the horizon

Slowly moving as if serenading my wanting heart

Lifting my arms to embrace these twinkling stars

Pressing them closely with the warmth of affection

Wrapped in this blanket of peace and serenity

I linger not wishing to leave this godly place

Created within my own loving heart

I call it my own through sweet surrender

Basking, secure in the harmony of benevolence

Knowing that I am being consecrated and sanctified

Through the gift of... (more)

She Takes Pleasure In The Rock

By Credo, published on Feb 5, 2014

...impatient, I am impelled to desperate measures.

I am no longer that old wounded man, that transverse the back alley's of this cruel world.

I am called through the the sacrifice of the Messiah, that I might take joy in performing YAH's pleasure.

I will always pray for your peace, and when I go before the master and stand before the assembled, and deliver my shalom.

I will say, in all humbleness, thank you O great heavenly FATHER, for she was the greatest gift. The gift you gave me of the wisdom, the laws, and commandments of JERUSALEM.

P.S. I love you... (more)

A Flicker Of Light And Hope

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Oct 18, 2013

Like a shadow of a cloud

When did our souls learn to cry?

Their fears and worries beckoning

Pulling them to a place of unrest

Gleaming moons in the winter sky...

Yesterday, they dreamed of peace

Now that dream shattered

Lost in the frost of war

Mutilating this sweet serenity

Unending longing for grace...

Time never gave them

The chance to be true

Their sun once intensely burning

Golden and fiercely reflected

A glimpse of heaven...

Now a dying ember

On a gray horizon

Dulled... (more)

Before It'sToo Late

By Barbara MacDonald , published on May 31, 2013

...

Inscrutable disregarded darkness

Oblivion to values of the soul

Creating incomprehensible anguish ***

Through time actions speaking

Louder than a drum pounding

The drone of the chaos echos

A deafening noise stunning our spirits ***

Please awaken the spirit of man

For tomorrow is already too late

We must strive for peace today

Shining within us our magnificent glory ***

Falling Into Peace

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Apr 6, 2013

...I thought you had left

You simply stopped me to change my course

I understand, I surrender now

Nothing to fear or should my tears fall

A new vessel created with faith...

I heard your voice with clarity

Never to be lost again, just let it be

You will always hold me in your arms

Protect me from unknown harm

Cradled safely in your peace...

When all hope had ceased to be

You came down to rescue me

Now I walk in perfect peace

Letting nothing trouble me

Thank you for loving me...

Letting Go and Finding Peace

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Mar 26, 2013

...pain, if we pull away it is not always the best reaction.

When we do this we leave a raw spot in our hearts . Putting a scab over it is most likely not going to work. The emotion will come back again and again, until we finally are able to face it, identify it and make peace with it. Denying your negative feelings is like leaving your hand in the flame and walking away so you do not have to watch.

Somehow we interpret negative feelings as bad. In reality, I do not believe that to be true. Our feelings are there for a reason. They very much... (more)

My Last Days With My Sister- Friend.

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Mar 3, 2013

...inside for so very long. All the times people made you feel "less than", unimportant, no longer useful. I use to cry for this, as I felt your pain and heartbreak my friend. Your journey has become NOW...the past no longer matters, and the future is within your sight. Make your soul be at peace, Before you pass over, tell all those who matter what needs expressed .

Watching as your body relentlessly breaks apart. Slowly, painfully, without mercy. Still, you never give in, nor even let your mind consider letting go without fighting. I admire you my dear friend. I am not... (more)

Silence Of The Soul

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Jan 3, 2013

Finding peace in dark silence

As the shadows

Tiptoe inside my dreams

No expectations

To shame my thoughts

Breathing exaltation

Inspiration to my heart...

Pure innocence belonging to

A call of my soul

When the ego becomes tired

Of dancing to daylight

Visions of obligation...

Let me embrace this silence

Be lost in the tranquil respite

Swaying in my mind

To the lullabies

Of blissful reticence ...

Which side to support, Palestine or Israel?

By Rahul, published on Nov 29, 2012

...is still ruling that country, no slogans or cries were heard from (except from the Tamil people) the now so called humanitarians at that time, is it because it wasn't a religion that was under attack there. I am not pointing fingers at any one at all, some of us do really care about people’s life and wants to put an end to all these inhuman acts but supporting one side won’t do that. Raise banners and shout slogans for peace, not for supporting and promoting more violence. Let’s support the innocent people in both Palestine and Israel who wish to live a normal life like all others.

Break Of Dawn

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Nov 13, 2012

The beauty of the break of dawn

Touches my heart today

Giving birth to a soulful peace

Thanking My God

The universe for this blessing...

My vision drawn to the splendor reflected

In heavenly purple and pink hazes

I embrace this day

All the earth, the sky

The wonders created and gifted to us ...

I softly whisper "I love you"

"Thank you"

As I listen the justification

Vibrates in my soul

"I love you too" ...
