Paris in the Spring

By Anastasia , published on Apr 11, 2012

I love Easter, I love spring and I love Paris. When I combine the three nothing could be more perfect. I got back from a long weekend in the city yesterday evening, a lovely time in a perfect place, my favourite in all the world. Paris holds no more secrets for me; there is nothing fresh to be discovered; I have been so many times before, from early childhood onwards. Yet it never ever fails to charm.

Getting Lost in Paris

By SF Girl, published on Sep 19, 2010

On my third day in Paris, I got lost. I didn’t mean to; it just happened.

After a breathtaking journey through the visions of French Impressionists, I ventured by bus to the Champ du Mars and climbed the Eiffel Tower to see Paris from the perspective of the Gods: a wheeled mosaic of art, magic and scene. Then I decided to walk home from there. I thought my adventure was over; in truth, it had just begun…

As I wound my way down a tree-lined street, the flower blossoms rained down with the fragrant breeze, painting... (more)

France: Pakistan not to get India-like civil nuclear pact

By Mritunjay, published on Nov 30, 2009

Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari, earlier in the day, handed over the charge of nuclear arsenal to PM Yousuf Raza Gilani after as many as 27 ordinances passed by ex-President Parvez Musharraf were re-promulgated.
