NFL Championship Games Thoughts

By Deborah Horton, published on Jan 29, 2011

I have had the flu for the past few days and have spent much of that time in bed sick. I did drag myself out of bed for part of the championship games on Sunday but from what little I saw, I missed little. The Packers and the Steelers won but neither team played to their potential while the Jets and Bears played exactly to their potential.

The Packers had their game well in hand as Jay Cutler exhibited the characteristic he is most known for and why he is so disliked by players and fans - narcissism. Cutler is all about me - not the team. He is not a leader. He is in fact a loser.... (more)

First DeSean Jackson and then Michael Vick, again. The Eagles tried to fight back coming to within 5 points ... (more)

Playoffs Day 2

By Deborah Horton, published on Jan 4, 2011

...The Ravens are considered to be one of the top teams, but some of the time this year they haven't looked it at all.

I'm going to pick the Ravens, but not by much and I wouldn't be at all surprised if they were upset by the Chiefs.

The second game on Sunday is the Eagles vs the Packers. The Eagles lost to the Packers in the season opener after starting QB Kevin Kolb suffered a concussion and Vick only played QB for part of the game. It's a game Vick believes the Eagles would have won had he played the entire game. Now the Eagles will face the Packers with Vick as their... (more)
