Welfare Isn't Compassion

By PATRICK PETION, published on May 6, 2009

...

without an undestanding of basic economics, and with a large amount of what you term compassion you assail the greedy capitalist. this wacky left wing mind set, albeit well intentioned at the lowest level. don't think for a moment The common left wing politician like Ted kennedy and Barak Obama believe it,their entire power base usually depends upon the existence of a class of dependent victims. At least for now you can be assure that hard work will always pay off. before you realize that half of your pay is taking by the government for programs which cause more more problem than... (more)

Liberals Aren't Getting It

By D. E. Carson, published on Apr 17, 2009

Liberals are so desperate to stay in power they are refusing to acknowledge the impact of the Tax Day Tea Parties last Wednesday. The reason is because they are scared.

They are scared to acknowledge that they were given a chance and they’ve blown it. Obama hasn’t been in office 100 days yet and he’s already bowed to a foreign leader, apologized to virtually every country in the world for anything America has done or may have done to offend them and just today, while in Mexico kissing the ass of President Filipe de Jesus Calderon, Obama met with... (more)

U. S. Captain Freed; Pirates Vow Revenge

By D. E. Carson, published on Apr 13, 2009

...Now [U.S. forces] became our number one enemy.”

It is now time for US forces to begin pinpointed airstrikes on known pirate hideouts in Somalia.  Why?  Because if these people don’t learn now not to mess with the USA, then they need to be taken to school.

But does Obama have the nerve to go through with this?  Probably not.  Considering his lackluster performance thus far with the economy, with the G20 conference and his bow to the King of Saudi Arabia, that Obama was willing to order a strike on the pirates is a little out of character.  But believe... (more)

U. S. Captain Released; Somali Pirates Dead

By D. E. Carson, published on Apr 12, 2009

...details of the firefight or Phillips’ rescue were immediately available.

This is good news for the United States. A show of force that lets the Somali pirates know that the United States will not stand for our ships being pirated. The only question remains now is: now that Obama has “tasted blood” will he continue to stand up to our enemies or will he revert to the softer, weaker, spineless position of his liberals constituents?

This was turning into an international incident as it was the first time since Obama took office that Somali pirates... (more)

Tea Party's Protests Gain Momentum Across The Nation

By Amo, published on Apr 10, 2009

...and forcing them to buy British tea.

Ironically, the parallels of 1773 and the “Tea Party” Protests of today, are strikingly similar in that the “Tea Act” was passed to save the British East India Company from going out of business, exactly what President Obama is doing today, bailing out corrupt and mismanaged industries with taxpayer money…instead it ignited a smoldering anger that finally erupted, after the Governor of Massachusetts demanded that the British tea tax be implemented, and the cargo be unloaded, from the three British ships... (more)

Buyer's Remorse?

By Amo, published on Apr 9, 2009

however in most cases we could always bring it back for either a refund or a credit towards another purchase, and I would imagine after witnessing several months of this administration in action, that some who voted for President Obama, might be having buyer’s remorse…unfortunately there are no refunds on one’s vote, and for the most part we’ve got the type of government that most wanted, and of course the “change” that was promised…the key question that should have been asked BEFORE the purchase, should have been, “what kind of change”?

Obama-sarkozy: The War Of The Worlds

By JN PAQUET, published on Apr 8, 2009

...seen anything like that! », he added.

But two worlds (or should we say two visions of the same world) opposed each other before and during the G20. Nicolas Sarkozy’s (little nervous Frenchman, slightly isolated in the world, but with an idol: Napoleon…) and Barack Obama’s (coupled with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown, they end up looking a bit like Laurel and Hardy…).

The gap between the two men is not new. This War of the Worlds started last November, after Obama’s great victory at the Presidential election.
