...sentiment that I believe everyone can – and should – stand by and that’s ‘Do as you would be done by…’. So I was kind of brought up short by my own thinking today – ‘Do as you are done by’ – when making my resolutions.

I said, without a trace of bitterness, that my New Year’s resolution would be not to have any time for people who was abrupt/rude/superior and to apply a ‘pay it forward’ mentality to all kindness and disassociate myself from people who didn’t do the same. Cat Resolutions 2012

It's New Year's Eve so I thought I'd share what I think my cats' resolutions will be for 2012!

Bilbo says: Cuddles with Mummy! Nothing is more important than that. I leave my food, toys, bed, warm spots when Mummy comes into the room. Sometimes I chew her hair but she usually stops me because I like to eat it. So maybe my resolution will be to find a way to groom Mummy more. But then, I might lose my cuddle time! I'll stick with the cuddles!

Frodo says: Meow! MEOW! I think they can hear me next door now and possibly even in the next street. Daddy calls me the Opera Singer.... (more)

I Resolve

It's a big tradition as one year comes to a close and another starts to open its books, making resolutions. Many people decide to make some kind of change in their lives be it big or small to ring in the New Year. I'm just not one of these people.

I don't like to set myself up for failure and I've always felt that New Year's resolutions are the perfect path to this. New Year's resolutions can be very grand undertakings. Stopping smoking.
