Scientists Discover What’s Killing the Bees and it’s Worse than Thought

By Shaun Gibson, published on Jul 28, 2013

Scientists had struggled to find the trigger for so-called Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD) that has wiped out an estimated 10 million beehives, worth $2 billion, over the past six years. Suspects have included pesticides, disease-bearing parasites and poor nutrition. But in a first-of-its-kind study published today in the journal PLOS ONE, scientists at the University of Maryland and the US Department of Agriculture have identified a witch’s brew of pesticides and fungicides contaminating pollen that bees collect to feed their hives. The findings break new ground on why large numbers... (more)

...door on Fridays to camp, fish, golf, play sports or simply lay in the sun?

For me, just looking at my gardens,

even more so working in the warm earth,

lifts my spirits, nourishes something deep within me.

It is like drinking in beauty through my eyes.

Perhaps nature is another portal into heaven;

Perhaps God is present is in every molecule of nature.

Perhaps people yearn to touch the divine and instinctively known

That He is present.

Simply stepping outside immerses us in His presence.

Man Craves the Outdoors

By melanie jean juneau, published on May 18, 2013

It doesn’t matter what the excuse, it can be anything from a simply walk, vigorous sports or lazy sun bathing, but people need to get out of buildings and connect with nature. It has been an especially long, cold winter and spring in Canada this year. After one week of warmth, we endured another cold stretch. Today, though, is the beginning of the Victoria Day long weekend. Everyone seems to be excited; it is warming up once again. Cars jammed the highways last night, as people rushed to escape into the countryside, shop for bedding plants or open cottages.

Man was never meant to live... (more)

Divinity in Your Sexuality

By Uttam Gill, published on Dec 14, 2012

...of love with utmost intensity and sincerity.

The curvaceous beauty and voluptuous pageantry can be a visual delight, to create a cosmetic spell of glamour, in fashion industries and show biz. However, the raw sensuality with magical prowess gathers substantial ingredients from the nature. To claim, my point of view, I need to create a magical spell of nature

Let me pick up one of the sultry day to explain:

In the blistering heat of scorching summer, he begs for rain. He looks at her and finds the rolling beads of sweat, making way down the neck, to her heaving... (more)

Misty Is Her Way

By D. Sager, published on Oct 14, 2012 of my landscape to wander. My breathing slows, mind numbs, and a creeping satisfaction, like morning mist rolling down the hillside, fills every low place of my mind. The lows of sadness, footprints of giants pocketing my memory, cupped every delicate drop of her. These lined with the nature and nurture of excruciating experience, crushed me like shells on the shore, the pounding driving me into smaller and smaller pieces. Ah, but the mist of her touch, brought healing in the haze. The troubles disappeared as I soaked up the attentions and affections of her spirit, bringing me to... (more)

Morphic Fields - New evidence of interconnectedness

By Alethea, published on Apr 22, 2012

...of faster development with technology.

Seems hard to believe, right?

However, Dr. Sheldrake has examined this effect with a number of topics: crystallization of materials, melting points, genetic mutations, human recognition rates of visual puzzles, and more. He sees the laws of nature not as laws, but more like habits. These habits evolve with nature itself.

Sheldrake concludes that all species, including humans, draw on a type of collective memory and contribute to it. A sort of gigantic morphic field that connects everyone. Thus, he contends that memories are... (more)

His Love

By Betty B., published on Feb 10, 2012

Lord, today I need to have a sense of Your presence I need to know Your here with me.

I have failed You so much in my life I can't seem to lose all this strife.

I am tired of running the race I seem not to win but in the end with You I know the victory is already won.

Its the sin in this world that leaves us blind why can't we see the way it is.

Only Your touch leaves me longing for Your embrace I feel like a failure in time of trial, why is it hard Lord to get out of this denial?

I know Your there, I see it in the sky I see it in the flowers growing wild with... (more)
