I “JUST HAD” To share this. Many dislike the “Imagine there is no heaven line” But I think many miss the point. This simple cartoon, I hope can make people understand the song a bit better. I think this is just BRILLIANT! The message is “HOPE, PEACE AND LOVE” Nothing more, nothing less. People who follow Religion always tell me “it’s a metaphor” when I ask about some things said in the bible or ask questions about God or the lack of God in action through prayer. Radiant, gleaming , beckoning
Glistening upon the dew drops
Flowers opening to blossom
As a reflection of a Mother's gift
The wind delighting in the fragrance
The aura and aroma scenting this beauty
I come to you with prayer on lips

Surrendered in the divinity
Of understanding, compassion
Tranquil gifts of reverent homage
Belonging as the birds are to flight
The water to the sea
The trees to the forest
draped the angel sleeps the cold of stone not felt beneath surround her not with pity she no longer feels her pain blind to acts of cruelty deaf to words of hate
as on earth an angel once again
do not weep your tears though your heart may break as you stand before her rest a marigold where she lays remember not her sorrow her soul now free to touch
the face of the stars
brush the dirt away from her so she maybe cleansed from those that caused her death sit and talk with her a while and you will hear her plea

...middle of nowhere country is taught, we are born pure and innocent, then we become the person we are taught to be or told to be. I was taught hate on a large scale and I went with it in a big way, then one day I looked at my 3 year old son, started to cry and walked away from it, I found love, compassion and more, then the pain came, I always wonder to this day, why did the pain come when I woke up to intolerance and hatred

the gate not mended; the grout worn and fallen; rubbish stacked behind the shed it would be cleared ‘one day’ ~ things undone things left; importance now ~ very little within our walls of home, love held between four fences ~ that had value
