The China Earthquake: “You Must Remember That I Love You”

By Coach Phatty, published on Apr 5, 2014

...son. The little boy was still sleeping peacefully when the team leader picked him up.

The medical doctor came quickly to exam the little boy. After he opened the blanket, he saw a cell phone inside the blanket. There was a text message on the screen. It said,” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” This cell phone was passing around from one hand to another. Everybody that read the message wept. ” If you can survive, you must remember that I love you.” Such is the mother’s love for her child!!

Accepting Miracles: Embracing Mystery

By melanie jean juneau, published on Mar 25, 2014

...Just to make sure we realized the full ramifications of this divine intervention, the pile of cut ends was at least 2 m. high, making the total wood waste more than the amount of the uncut wood before my husband had even begun the stairwell in the beginning. This demonstration of extravagant love shocked us. God was probably laughing at our confusion and questions.

Why would God bother to work a miracle like this? Usually, any intervention from God has filled a real need. All we could come up with is that He indeed is in charge, in control and will meet all our needs effortlessly. ... (more)

Tranquil Thoughts

By Barbara MacDonald , published on Feb 27, 2014 wanting heart

Lifting my arms to embrace these twinkling stars

Pressing them closely with the warmth of affection

Wrapped in this blanket of peace and serenity

I linger not wishing to leave this godly place

Created within my own loving heart

I call it my own through sweet surrender

Basking, secure in the harmony of benevolence

Knowing that I am being consecrated and sanctified

Through the gift of purest grace and love

I bow my head and softly whisper "Amen"

Getting Your Sizzle Back

By Randy Mitchell, published on Feb 24, 2014

...Each time she enters a room your heart skips inside your chest, palms sweat, pupils dilate, nerves are on edge and your mind floods with ideas of making her happy, content and wanting more. The hours or days anticipating seeing her cannot pass quickly enough. You feel knots in your stomach. The love bug has definitely swung your way and you cannot imagine a future without her. Life for you, even on the grayish and rainiest of days is filled with nothing but sunshine and clear blue skies. Sigh…

Well, that’s the way it used to be. But what made it change, and what can be done to... (more)

Starvation Raises The Siren

By Uttam Gill, published on Feb 22, 2014

The rituals of love confines to vows Falling on to the days we consigned Time fills with time so as the hearts Starvation raises the siren The fallen hopes script the obituary I retain the solemn pledges to relive To rise from the ashes to standby Starvation raises the siren Tonight I am broken so will cry The night in its fold holds me The comfort of the dark haunts me Starvation raises the siren The stormy dreams took her away I beg the storm to calm down I woke up and yell “Where you are” Starvation raises the siren By-Uttam Singh Gill

The Trouble With The True Church

By Credo, published on Feb 1, 2014

...It is amazing, they as the children of the Most High know and understand this principal of divide and conquer, yet they continue to destroy themselves from within, and it always starts with the minor things which continue to bring forth their lack of understanding of how they were commanded to love one another. Without continual counseling this prideful need excels all other necessities that are important to nation building, without the father in heaven & his vision the people perish, the congregation is destroyed.

Are Your Past Relationships Affecting Your Future Ones?

By Randy Mitchell, published on Jan 30, 2014

Perhaps she’s “the one that got away” or she left battle scars along your chest that you’re still healing from. Or maybe, in your mind, you’re still trying to make it work despite her continued rejection.

There could also be repeated mutual attempts at long-lasting love that never seem to work out, keeping you from seeing other prospective partnerships because neither one of you can really let go.

Whichever is the case, and for whatever reason, the years go by with nothing to show because you’re always comparing and holding others to an invisible... (more)

When Our Loved Ones In Need Elude Us

By melanie jean juneau, published on Jan 26, 2014

Relationships are messy. This article might seem detached but it is my response to a daughter who is going through a crisis . We are in agony because our fierce love seems like a noodle arrow which cannot pierce through to her heart. This is hardly an unique situation.

Often we do not fully grasp what is best for our husbands, children or parents. Often our way of loving misses their hearts completely. Some people crave touch, others need to hear love articulated. Still others think talk is cheap and anyone can hug but only feel love when it is put in action or they receive gifts.... (more)
