A Love That Death Could Not Destroy

By Coach Phatty, published on Jun 24, 2014

A short time ago, I came across a beautiful story written by Anna Rumer on that showed a steadfast love that truly lasted a lifetime. I have always thought that it is a astounding testament of the true love a couple shares whenever their marriage lasts for their entire life together. I can only hope that my life and marriage will be blessed as much as these folks.

When Helen Felumlee passed away at the age of 92 Saturday morning, her family knew her husband Kenneth Felumlee, 91, wouldn’t be slow to follow her. The couple couldn’t bear to be... (more)

The man returned to the flower shop, canceled the wire order, picked up a bouquet and drove the two hundred miles to his mother’s house.

The Great Mystery of Life and Death

By Coach Phatty, published on Jun 18, 2014 her very young gestational age. This woman’s husband could not bear to be present during this birth, and so the nurses wondered if I could stay with her as she went through this sad labor. Her husband believed that it would be best not to see, name, or hold the baby so that they would not love it any more. It was a desperate —and failed — attempt at having their hearts a little less broken. The nurse who called me looked at my rounding stomach and asked if I was sure I should do this. I wasn’t, but I knew I was to go in anyway.

There were layers of similarities — our... (more)

Love Poem

By Shaun Gibson, published on Jun 4, 2014

hold a touch to feel your breath every day

I awaken every day and you are my first thought

I need to feel you, hear you, your breath against me

I need you more than a lung needs air, I think it’s love

Like Alpha needs the Omega, I need to know your warmth

Our sameness make us one, our differences make us two

When the night comes I need to feel your naked next to mine

Skin on Skin we intertwine as one soul, I think it’s love

I am on a path to love you more, prepare for what’s in store

The love I hold comes from... (more)

Michael Jackson, hate, religion, Jesus, love and to care

By Shaun Gibson, published on Jun 2, 2014

...we kill him AGAIN? It is in our nature to kill, be evil, and hate. I can back my claim up 100%, JFK, Bob Marley, John Lennon, Martin Luther King and more is the truth about us as a species, these men, and there were Woman and many more, I know, came and tried to do good, make change, inject love through their ways and means. Yeah we witness remarkable acts of individual kindness, I have seen it, and so have you. Sadly the bigger picture is not as the small picture, the big picture is we kill kindness, we hate love, we crush rebellion in a true form, we deceive, despise and dishonour. We ... (more)

Our House and Cats

By melanie jean juneau, published on May 29, 2014 needed updated and the list of its quirks would fill an entire post. The worst thing was that the house pump was in the barn and above ground which meant it tended to freeze about 4 months of the year when it could drop to -30 C at night.

Despite all the inconveniences, we all loved that house for 18 years because it was full of kids, pets, plants and plastered with kid’s artwork. I use to sing this song to the kids and they agreed with me, “our house is a very, very fine house” especially because we had cats.

The best part was when one of the mother... (more)
