Imagine – John Lennon - In cartoon

By Shaun Gibson, published on Sep 20, 2013

I “JUST HAD” To share this. Many dislike the “Imagine there is no heaven line” But I think many miss the point. This simple cartoon, I hope can make people understand the song a bit better. I think this is just BRILLIANT! The message is “HOPE, PEACE AND LOVE” Nothing more, nothing less. People who follow Religion always tell me “it’s a metaphor” when I ask about some things said in the bible or ask questions about God or the lack of God in action through prayer. I mean to upset nor hurt anyone’s feelings here, only put something into context. We can’t have our cake and eat it in this World.... (more)

Why must we hate

By Shaun Gibson, published on Sep 11, 2013

Hatred as I see it, even in my own backwater middle of nowhere country is taught, we are born pure and innocent, then we become the person we are taught to be or told to be. I was taught hate on a large scale and I went with it in a big way, then one day I looked at my 3 year old son, started to cry and walked away from it, I found love, compassion and more, then the pain came, I always wonder to this day, why did the pain come when I woke up to intolerance and hatred

Karma is the best I can come up with to this day, I did some awful things as a kid and a young man, but doing... (more)

Coming through the other end when told your life is gone

By Shaun Gibson, published on Aug 30, 2013

People often ask me what is it like to have Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain syndrome, I can't find words, the closest I can come with an answer about the pain is "All over body toothache" pain, and the picture above doesn't really give the pain justice.

I just turned 40 years old, I never get ill, as in colds or the flu, ever, I can't remember being ill, as, in bed ill, just never happens. The pain came one day when I was around 20 years old, I was playing football (Soccer to the people from the USA) and I got tackled by two people at the same time, I felt the pain right away,... (more)

Behind the Scenes, Living in Misawa Japan

By Scorpion Sting, published on Mar 27, 2013

...that we would go to every year. Up north where I was, there are many local festivals. I will do a post or two another time with my favorites.

We had a great time in Japan. I saw so much that I never knew even knew existed, and now they are things I wish I could still be a part of today. Living in Japan is way different than being a tourist there. When one immerses oneself in the culture, we get to see the real side of where you really are. I highly recommend living in another country, it opens your eyes. I only touched on a few things here today, about 10% of what we actually did.... (more)

Unconditional Love

By Cherry4, published on Oct 19, 2012

Love

True love is without conditions, it endures, forgives, loves you just for who you are. Only a man or woman who understands and give true love can receive and know true love. True love is from God, hence the reason you will know true love when you see or meet it.

t is one thing to read about unconditional love and another to show it. When God talked about what love is, I thought I understood and had that type of love but I didn’t until God thought it to me through meeting other people and truly loving them for who they are and not as I would like them to be.

Now... (more)

His Love

By Betty B., published on Feb 10, 2012

Lord, today I need to have a sense of Your presence I need to know Your here with me.

I have failed You so much in my life I can't seem to lose all this strife.

I am tired of running the race I seem not to win but in the end with You I know the victory is already won.

Its the sin in this world that leaves us blind why can't we see the way it is.

Only Your touch leaves me longing for Your embrace I feel like a failure in time of trial, why is it hard Lord to get out of this denial?

I know Your there, I see it in the sky I see it in the flowers growing wild with... (more)
