...when I finally do it, will leave me with nothing left to do. Then there’s that Fool Waha interview with you
What artist (musician, author, painter etc) inspires you?
I’ve been planning. And seriously, I’m developing a TV pilot. So what if nobody in Hollywood knows me. With 5,611 independent production companies in Greater Los Angeles, anything’s possible.

...I'm so bored I don't know what to do with myself. I want the insanity over with. Added to this let's not forget as a human being I'm extremely lazy, (sometimes) alcoholic, and I absolutely never exercise. To demand twenty minutes of pumping and sweating from me is like asking most to Jog from Hollywood to Santa Monica... just not happening.
Now at the same time there is a flipside to the coin. I can see enjoying endless hours of pelvis bumping if the partner is someone truly special. But this of course means dropping ‘The L Bomb': Love. And I don't mean telling your partner you... (more)
On September 2nd, Brian Wilson's new album was released and was having a signing at Amoeba Records in Hollywood. I couldn't miss the opportunity to meet a musical legend from the glory days of Rock & Roll. This was my first time going to a signing that I can remember, and I thought there was going to be a huge line wrapped around the building. I was impressed how the folks at Amoeba Records handled this event. They held the line inside the store and it was zig-zagging through each isle of the west side of the building. The staff was really nice and professional and you had to purchase the... (more)

Happy endings sooth the uncertainty of reality for sure, but they also touch our humanity. Happy endings remind us of what hope feels like even when hope is the last thing our mind can see. While I’m not so far gone to think there will be a Hollywood-like happy ending for me, I hang to a hope that things will at least end happily for me. Until then I will continue to work towards my new goals (groovy), and when things go dark I’ll be back at the video store looking for my next happy ending fix. Because as Andy Dufresne, in The... About.com's Dr. Phil and Robin McGraw Divorce Rumors report fueled the speculation:
"Could the self help guru need a little romantic assistance of his own? Following recent whispers that Dr. Phil and Robin's marriage could be in trouble, Access Hollywood did a little investigating into the matter.
When they checked in with Oprah Winfrey's BFF for a response to the gossip, they were given the standard "no comment" and sent on their way. Interestingly enough, this week's episodes revolve mostly around marital issues. Maybe Dr. Phil... (more)

...I chose to be involved with the The Avon Foundation because it has been instrumental in raising awareness and extremely effective at raising money for a cure and other programs for people battling cancer.
It is great that so much attention is being given to cancer by the media and the Hollywood community, however, I do find these telethons to be somewhat patronizing. It's just hard for me to be asked by somebody that is making $5 million a movie to give money. I obviously don't know if all of these celebrities are donating themselves, and I seriously hope that they are. Regardless... (more)

On the 29th of August I attended the John Williams: A Hollywood Legend performance at the Hollywood Bowl. As I walked the two blocks up from Hollywood Blvd to the venue I half expected to see a Star Trek convention hodge-podge of costumed wookies and storm troopers. What I found was hundreds of people munching on picnic basket cheese, wine and chocolate... (more)
