It took me awhile - fifty six years to be exact - but it finally dawned on me that resisting the in-your-face, started-before Halloween, pepper-spray inducing "HOLIDAY SEASON", was just a lesson in futility. I've surrendered. I hate to give up a fight but it's best to recognize defeat and cut your losses.
