Caught a video by http://sherayx.wordpress.com/ a while ago on her blog, I always ask myself, if Jesus was to come back to Earth, would we kill him AGAIN? It is in our nature to kill, be evil, and hate. I can back my claim up 100%, JFK, Bob Marley, John Lennon, Martin Luther King and more is the truth about us as a species, these men, and there were Woman and many more, I know, came and tried to do good, make change, inject love through their ways and means. Yeah we witness remarkable acts of individual kindness, I have seen it,... (more)

Exploding anger Spilling forth Bitter Abomination Creating a tsunami Of torment Flooding the heart Each person becoming A virus within them selves Feasting like a piranha Slaughtered in the frenzy Flesh and bones At times consuming one's self As he eats others Anguished venom Animosity poisoning the wind No unadulterated air Lingering on Until the dust settles Residual of broken bones Spirits berated in sorrow Collecting these puzzles to life Praying for harmony Where there is no Beginning or end..... .............. in a not too distant past I had a life of which I haven't shared ever before. Of course, there are people who know bits and pieces of this story but I'm the only person alive who knows the actual story as it actually happened. Some may call this story a confession of sorts, some may shake their heads in disbelief, but in the end maybe you can realize that there was a time in my life when these were considered the best days in my life. Be sure to follow close as there are a few twists and turns that if you aren't paying attention you just might get lost. So, are we ready? If so,... (more)
...me. My father got transferred to Coimbatore; it was his third transfer since I started my school day. I was enrolled in a new school there, my fourth school. New school, lot of new faces and the only thing familiar as usual was the books. There I met him, he became my best friend and now I hate him the most. He came to me, stood beside me, talked to me a lot and it seemed that we both had the same view towards life. I started talking a lot too, about me, about the world around me and how it’s unfair. I trusted him, he listened to all of it silently but little did I know about what... (more)
...Success is, therefore, well described as a series of glorious defeats." – Mahatma Gandhi
Breath of coals consumes the compliantly relented peace of multitudes
Leaping from dream to purpose and defiling with hungered presence
- "Come my enemy, give life to me by your hate"
A leprous char to remain in the abandon of slanderous consumption
The takers of hope are meant to be, giving life to survivor's dreams
- "Come my enemy, give life to me by your violence"

At the age of 5, I knew in my heart that my son was gay. There were little tale tale signs, mostly...but I guess a mother just seems to sense things about their children in that innate, deep-down way. I resolved to raise him in a manner that he could figure things out by himself. I did not lead him in one direction or another. I simply let him be who he was going to be.
He was a shy child, having mostly female friends and not playing with very many boys. I speculated over that quite a bit. Was it because he was attracted to them at such a young age and did not know how... (more)
Well, now that North Carolina has outlawed queer love, the floodgates of hell have opened. Let me be clear - I am not talking about a sudden increase in the number of gays entering the Flaming Gates, (though I am sure many flaming gates could do with a decent re-do, if you know what I mean,) but about the real faces of so-called Christians finally coming to light. Caught this little gem today from a wire story:
"Before the state's vote, Pastor Sean Harris of the Berean Baptist Church in Fayetteville instructed parents to use force if their kids start acting gay:
"So your little... (more)
...now, this extra little kick should mean that divorce attorneys were the new 1%, right? How sad and pathetic for people to feel that their marriages are so fragile that someone else getting married makes their own marriage meaningless. If that is how you and your spouse really feel, then I'd hate to see what the latest issue of the Sport's Illustrated Swimsuit Edition will do to it!
If you fear someone else's love so much that it makes you hate them, then I must suspect your claims of religious belief rest on some truly shifting sands. I was always taught that there is the god of... (more)
...face, or body, you are enjoying how the image makes you feel warm and tender and perhaps even romantic. Love is felt when someone is kind to you and respectful to you, so you feel valued, important, worthy…it is more about you than it is about them. The same is true for when you say you hate something, it is not the thing that is hateful, but it is about your reaction to it, for instance, if you hate math. math is not a bad thing, some people even love math, but it is your reaction to it that makes you love it or hate it. Perhaps it brings you a challenge, or you do not... (more)
