This week past, I was away with my baby sister. It was a time for just the two of us, to hang out, laugh, talk and reconnect on a special level that only sisters can experience. Getting away with each other has been a blessing and has strengthened our friendship as sisters knowing that we stand in the gap for each other. Sometimes life takes you by storm, days running into each other that we can't even remember what we ate the day before. It's time to experience each simple moment. No matter who you work with, marry, be-friend, date, parent, or live beside, sooner or later there’ll be personality traits which you don’t agree with, or find uncomfortable to be around. We’re all created differently, are an original masterpiece created by God, and like any living thing, there are no two of us exactly alike. It’s what makes the human race such an incredibly diverse body of souls. But, how we interact, and appreciate each others positive and negative qualities is more about our personality rather than the individuals inside our target zone.

So here I'm blabbing about divorce and I'm divorced. Hmm... I took my vows seriously and meant them. I believe in my heart that I would still be married to my x if he hadn't left for greener pastures. I wasn't given any choice. I'm not saying I wasn't just as much at fault. I just didn't have a choice.
Years later I found out that pretty much our whole marriage was a sham. He had slept around for years. As it turns out, many of his conquests were my girl friends. The worst part of it all is, it was my son who told me this.
