...I hope can make people understand the song a bit better. I think this is just BRILLIANT! The message is “HOPE, PEACE AND LOVE” Nothing more, nothing less. People who follow Religion always tell me “it’s a metaphor” when I ask about some things said in the bible or ask questions about God or the lack of God in action through prayer. I mean to upset nor hurt anyone’s feelings here, only put something into context. We can’t have our cake and eat it in this World. The Metaphor in this song is “HOPE, PEACE AND LOVE” Xx
Just to add, the Peace sign IS NOT ... (more)
A loved child can change the world
1. I love you, believe in you. Let that love be your foundation and your springboard into life.
2. God loves you, just as you are. Relax in that Love, let it sink in , heal you, strengthen you and release you into freedom and joy. Don’t try to save yourself and everybody else on your own because He is the only Saviour. Notice that I called God Lord. Let God be the Lord and don’t steal His job.
3. Reach out and allow that Divine Love to flow through you to your partner, children, neighbours and in doing so discover your unique vocation,... (more)

Did God create everything that exists? Does evil exist? Did God create evil?
A University professor at a well-known institution of higher learning challenged his students with this question. “Did God create everything that exists?” A student bravely replied, “Yes he did!”
“God created everything?” The professor asked.
“Yes sir, he certainly did,” the student replied.
The professor answered, “If God created everything; then God created evil. And, since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are, then we can assume God is evil.”... (more)
...to that of St. Thérèse the Little Flower, probably because I have lived with children under the age of 18 for 33 years. I think that many mothers can relate to this this saint as well. She lived what she liked to call the little way of those who are not rich and famous but who want to serve God their loving Father through their littleness and simplicity and love. She chose to stay as a child in they eyes of God, performing all of her duties with love and obedience, no matter how small and insignificant they were.

Our whispered hello to God and each other is called prayer.
As believers, we are all connected not only to God but to each other in the Mystical Body of Christ. It is as if the Lord has plugged us into an invisible circuit board where a mere thought lights up a surge of power and love that moves with thespeed of light directly to the heart of God and to the soul we are praying for. Many times my parents, sister and children realized that when I mention exactly when I interceded for their needs, they had felt a burden lift.

...simply lay in the sun?
For me, just looking at my gardens,
even more so working in the warm earth,
lifts my spirits, nourishes something deep within me.
It is like drinking in beauty through my eyes.
Perhaps nature is another portal into heaven;
Perhaps God is present is in every molecule of nature.
Perhaps people yearn to touch the divine and instinctively known
That He is present.
Simply stepping outside immerses us in His presence.
From the tiniest bug to the largest mountain

While on a journey to visit one of her convents, a donkey threw St. Theresa of Avila into a stream of freezing cold water. Standing in her water-logged, heavy habit, she yelled at God,“If this is how you treat your friends, no wonder you have so few!”
The spiritual journey is intense and hard but if we keep a sense of humour, don’t take ourselves too seriously and stop meddling in God’s business, the journey becomes much easier. A friend of Thomas Merton, a Trappist monk, once asked him if it was possible to tell if a another person had truly undergone inner transformation.... (more)
... think they have high intellect and so won’t admit it as such, they prefer wrapping it around a more deceiving and convincing name called religion. From a society for fun and security its now grown into most unsecure, misleading and profit oriented business, new religions are formed and thus new gods, each individual holds up his own crazy outdated idea and fight within each other to dominate the market while superman and batman which have much better morality and humanity than them still remain in the comics and are seen with no doubt as pure fiction. And so the most evil characters ever... (more)
...for oh, about another 10 years, even though she had converted to Catholicism. I mean what choice did she have? Nobody but the Catholic Church even wants someone who craves the Eucharist and has a relationship with the Mother of Christ.
Obviously this young woman was and is me. God has a peculiar sense of humour and now I can look back and laugh at my dilemma. At the time, though I was shook up. As Pope Francis said at the Easter Vigil, God delights in shaking us up or like I like to say, ripping the rug from underneath us. Nope, God will not stay in a nice, neat little... (more)
