The Reality Of Voting

By Jimmy Jazz, published on Sep 10, 2008

...can shout from the mountains-"I told you so, this is why I didn't vote for him." Personally, I see this as the coward way out of taking responsibility for the wrong in the world and in our Country. "I didn't vote for this president so I'm not responsible for war, aids, homeless people, global warming, etc." is all I hear when they say stuff like "don't look at me, I voted for Nader." You have to be realistic and realize whether you voted for a certain politician or not that you are responsible for his/her actions in office the same way our history books say the German public were... (more)

Waterworld

By DLFerguson, published on Sep 8, 2008

...the reputation it’s unfairly gotten as a terrible movie. It’s actually pretty good for what it is.

Mankind lives on the water, in boats or on artificial islands called atolls. The Mariner (Kevin Costner) is a Trader, roaming the vast seas on ... (more)

...Supreme Court, the return to back alley abortions, the re-enactment of the Scopes Monkey Trial on evolution, the possible end of family planning, and untold other retro “reforms.” Not to mention continued tax cuts for the rich and a rejection of all scientific evidence of global warming. Voters will expect a Vice-President that could handle an international crisis, should anything happen to the President. That requires not only knowledge and experience, but also positive people skills.

... I'm here to warm up the crowd for Joe Biden. But soon you will see that he doesn't need from me. I love Joe Biden and soon America will too." Clinton continued to try his hand a humor saying that the campaign between his wife Hillary and Barack Obama generated so much heat it contributed to global warming." Then he took a jab at Obama and the rest of the Democrats saying, "My candidate didn't win."

...preacher stereotype." In the magazine's May 22, 2004edition, staffers identified Land as "One of 113 Americans who will help the policymakers in Washington plot the country's course in 10 critical areas: intelligence reform; workforce quality; Social Security; China; same-sex "marriage"; global warming; drug pricing; weapons threat; church and state; and bioengineering." ...at least 30 years old and can’t really keep up with demand. But the fools we’ve had in Congress since 1978 have screwed up letting thumb-sucking, nitwit environmental terrorists badger them into making laws prohibiting the construction of refineries in America, and now with the Al Gore Global Warming Liar’s Club perpetuating the global warming hoax, there isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell refineries will get built.

... has been proven again and again to hurt economies in the long term. I don’t care. I don’t pay taxes so I don’t have a relative in that hunt. I also don’t care if the US medical system gets socialized and the courts are stacked with liberal judges. All I care about is global warming. God forbid this porch should get any hotter!
