Facebook down adds to IPO woes & jokes.

Facebook, the social network (in case you weren't aware) experienced a rare slippup last night that lead to users being surprised and a large number of complaints. The social network went down and for many moved very slowly for almost 2 hours. It still seems to be experiencing problems. A few weeks ago they experienced other problems with users being unable to use "Like" or "Share" buttons -- a popular feature on the site.

Facebook IPO Expected to top $100 BILLION

Facebook is getting ready to for its highly anticipated IPO -- initial public offering -- that should take place during the 2nd quarter of 2012.

The company is aiming at a deal that will place a valuation on Facebook of over $100 billion. The calculates to over $125 for each of the 800 million users.

"Facebook’s $100 billion valuation would be twice as high as it was in January, when the company announced a $1.5 billion investment from Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and other backers," according to Bloomberg.
