The Pollution Solution

By baynurse, published on Oct 24, 2008

...on the floor for someone else to clean up.

I have been appalled when going camping to be in the woods, in peace and quiet joining nature and having people bring their bug killing spray and spray around their chairs and tent with these noxious chemicals to kill insects in their own environment, for their own comfort they kill. Wishing those people would have stayed home if they don’t like the outdoors and it’s inhabitants. These same folks stay up late smoking, drinking, listening to their own taste in music and curse the birds in the morning for singing and sun for... (more)

By 'Mean' Mike Duffau, published on Oct 15, 2008, Boston George Jung:

Sir Mike,

Allow me in slap dash fashion to depict a journey caused by an electrochemical surge that turned a kid from middle class America into a whirling dervish or better yet, The Rise and Fall of an American Villain/

I grew up in a fifties environment very close to the show 'Happy Days'/ White middleclass America in the fifties was a time of innocents/ We saluted the flag and recited the lord’s prayer in small wooden school houses/ Dads worked and Moms stayed home/ It was all so safe- so simple/ Drugs and violence did not exist nor... (more)

Why The Democrats Will Lose

By slowasigo, published on Sep 1, 2008

The Democratic political platform has for the past 50 years, been rooted in altruistic and long term projects with hard to define timelines to completion: women’s rights, civil rights, equal representation for gays, a fix for the environment, protection of domestic jobs, etc.

The problem with this as a political platform is none of these ideas or problems can be solved within the next political cycle. Equal pay for equal work for women will not happen within the next four years.

Republicans have consistently defined their platform by expeditious platitudes, lower taxes, defense... (more)

Do you know that the five essential elements of Mother Nature also represent colours? The five elements of nature that is Air, Fire, Earth, Water and Space are responsible ... (more)

New Global War Demanded By Us Attorney General

...a $20,000 pay raise for doing your job?

Patriotism does not mean " to follow government leadership blindly and tolerate economic slavery." The three blind mice could see the entire cabinet is supporting the interests of corporations over working families, farmers, consumers, the environment, the poor, and ordinary taxpayers like you and me. When most corporations lack ethics in their business practices, because their only responsibility and committment is to make a profit. American Cheese, What Does It Really Say About America?

By Lumiere, published on Jul 21, 2008

...of life I envision for American citizens.Do you thinkin our quest for financial gain, we have sacrificed quality for cheap manufacturing or just plain greed?Money does not have to be more important than our international reputation or the lives of our soldiers. We should be ahead of the environmental capitalism movement, leading the way in solar, wind and water power advancements. Not tagging along like a kid forced to run a three mile race, huffing and puffing becausehe has never run before. Oil is an eight track tape mentality and we need to think ahead, invent ahead and beyond the... (more)
