First of all I shall start by saying in a typical nonchalant and uppetty English way, how bloody dare you, how dare you tell the average cheese loving American what he or she can or cannot eat, and how dare you even try to justify it.

I should probably also explain to those that don't know, mimolette or 'boule de lille' as it's also known by is a cheese made in the French town of lille. Easiest Appetizer Ever - Bacon Wrapped Cheese Stuffed Dates

Bacon Wrapped Cheese Stuffed Dates


1lb bacon strips 1 box pitted dates (trust me, get the pitted ones and save 30-45 min) 1 package of your favorite stinky cheese (blue cheeses and asagiago work best in my experience) 1 box wooden tooth picks (I used plastic once. It wasn't pretty)

Preparation & Cooking

1) Stuff pitted dates with your favorite stinky cheese

2) Wrap cheese stuffed date with a whole strip of bacon

Ahhh Cheese. Just thinking about its ooey gooey melted goodness makes my mouth water. I do believe cheese may be the world's most perfect food. It's all natural and comes from cows. Of course lots of other good stuff comes from cows, things like milk and steak, but cheese takes the cake. Speaking of cake, let's talk about my favorite food to ever be made with cheese.
