BLOGGING FOR PROFIT – THE NEW RULES THAT TOP BLOGGERS KNOW AND YOU DON’T

You may think that blogging needs to be some big, time-consuming process that keeps you up at night wondering how you’ll ever compete…but it doesn’t have to be that way.

Like any new skill; learning to write and promote your content efficiently is a simple matter of understanding the big-picture of what you’re trying to accomplish, and then learning the tools & tactics used by the people already having success with it. Power verbs dazzle search engines and empower SEO

By darinlhammond, published on Oct 12, 2012

School Time VerbsThese words made my eyes roll into the back of my skull in public education: noun, verb, adjective, adverb, pronoun, etc. In fact, they still numb my mind, and as an English professor I avoid them as much as possible. They turn language into a perverse form of mathematics. Grammar turns students off.In school we get so caught up in identifying subjects and verbs that we forget the language, the beauty and power of unique sentences. Worksheet after worksheet in school made mundane work of language.

Personality Disorder or Human Emotion?

By Maylin Gonzalez, published on Jun 5, 2012

I have always been someone who analyzes everything, the smallest details never escape my thoughts and i always thought that t was my BIGGEST flaw. Come to think of it, i thought it was something close to my DOOM – perhaps that it would even be my ultimate undoing. Boy was i wrong! I admit, the things i think of and the solutions i bestow upon myself and others, are a bit out there. Needless to say… I’m not normal! As a matter of fact, shit… I am insane!!!

Now i can hear my closest friends/relatives/followers agreeing with me – and i like it. Never really intended to be different nor... (more)

In the years in which I've studied humanity as a whole; I've come across various scenarios, yet i have never been able to figure out what makes a person overindulge. I've had many ideas as of why the norm has inflated over the years, but i have not encountered the reasons in which the norm has also depleted. Perhaps the increased availability of material which its beneficial to such overindulgement... (more)

My Lessons from Blogging

By Shane Joseph, published on Jan 4, 2012

I have been at this gig now well into my fourth year and I need to pause and take stock of what I have learned from blogging. There are a lot of pros to this endeavour, I have discovered, as much as there are pitfalls. Here is a list of both for those of you out there considering taking this leap, or for those veterans of the blog post who will either agree or disagree with me:

Pros

1) There is no publishing delay or hierarchy to navigate. You simply think, write, then you publish, and the world reads you (or not)

2) This is an outlet to communicate the authentic YOU,... (more)
