Girl with no arms or legs wins position on soccer team

little Ellie Challis tore the hearts of many in the world when they watched her take her first steps on prosthetic legs. At 16 months old the "little hero" defied the odds of survival after she she contracted bacterial meningitis. To survive she suffered the loss of all four of her limbs.

Remarkably a month ago the adorable 7 year old champion won a position on her school soccer team. Ellie is "football made" according to her dad. Her favorite team is Arsenal and she watches all the games.

Two days ago her mother Lisa said: "She is just the most gutsy and remarkable child."... (more)
