Those Thoughts Again

By D. Sager, published on Feb 20, 2012

...always me. I didn’t ask for that situation or do anything wrong. But still the shame persists. A constant nagging burning feeling that makes me feel less than, less than anything. It burns through all my identities, creating a self hating monster inside of me. I can't stop the negative thoughts about me. About how I look, about how others must see me, about how I am, about how I behave. It takes away my feeling of safety. I'm no longer comfortable in my skin. How can I forget it? It comes at me when I'm unguarded. Driving down the road, in the middle of a party, walking to my... (more)

The amazing power our thoughts have over our happines

By DebTim, published on Apr 29, 2012

Today as I was looking at Wanda our lovely Hibiscus tree. I got to thinking about her seeds. Now work with me here okay?

Imagine for a minute that your mind was a greenhouse. Your greenhouse needs to be taken care of and managed to produce well right? OK so now consider that your thoughts are seeds. Now, as we have found with Wanda’s seeds – some are healthy and some are not. The healthy ones we will keep and nurture into healthy lovely plants. The not so healthy ones will be tossed away. We should be doing this with our thoughts. Take a good thought, a pleasing thought,... (more)

Thoughts on Lifestyle

By akagc, published on Aug 30, 2011

...lifestyle isn’t always about dieting and exercising all the time. For me, it’s about believing in standards, living by them, and exerting positivity in all aspects of everyday life: Personal & Professional Goals, Successes, Hardships, Ethics, Family, Friends, Health & Wellness. Simplicity is often recognized as the essence of sophistication; and that’s just the way I live my life. It’s what I do.

What about you?

Warm Mitten's .... Just Thoughts

By A WALK IN THE DARK, published on Nov 12, 2011

Here I am in beautiful Carmel, up among the tree's with ocean view's and late afternoon amber light. And while gazing at my adorable cat, I started having thoughts...thoughts we would never voice out loud or mention to anyone for fear of being left on our own to have them. Just thoughts. Back to gazing at Fluffy. Visions of what that cute little darling would do, say if I met with an untimely demise.

Would my Precious realize that he had the place all to himself, maybe decide to make a cioppino. Of course. Realizing that he had no thumbs and in need of some advise, he would cleverly... (more)

Raging thoughts

By SZU, published on Jul 23, 2010

...to be out…So I just decided to post all the three poems on my blog. But as i am typing here; I can sense the birth of yet another response to his (above written)poem...here it goes..Why live in the memories of that storm? That was a reality once...but now its gone…And why depend on a gentle calm? And why not make your wounds, your balm?Sleep- if dream is where you belong…Sleep- if that fake world makes you strong!Don’t be lost, cuz they won’t find youDon’t think much cuz those thoughts might blind you…Love’s not tyrant; lovers are;My heart's a proof-with its shining scars.

The Gravity Of Thoughts

By baynurse, published on Oct 18, 2010

...take over their spoils,

Like fierce ants that feed on a corpse

Till its hollowed shell crumbles and disintegrates into dust

Then is swept away by a brisk and cold wind.

I shout at God for help,

And then I beg for relief from this hunger, this burden of thoughts

That pounds me into the ground,

Draining my strength and my will

To live, to fight, and to reason.

A flicker of hope is all I need,

A moment of feeling useful and needed and worth the air I breathe

So I can lift from this desolate isolation and... (more)

Ecuador....And a Jumble of My Useless Thoughts

By Steven Lane, published on Sep 30, 2007

...city and most important port, Guayaquil. With that said, this article is not written as a travel review, it is simply some of my personal observations while a guest in this wonderful little country for a short but sweet visit. And without order or particular reason, I pass these rambling thoughts on anyone who is bored enough to read them. MONEY: Ecuador is a country where the official government approved currency is the U.S. dollar. Dead American Presidents abound, the difference being you really do get more cluck for your buck but we will go into that later. The primary choice of... (more)

Remininiscence of Love

By Uttam Gill, published on Jan 1, 2012

...when you are in love.

All this, I am writing is not, my figment of imagination. I had been through this and all that left behind, is those scary moment which always pricks me. I saw her, with somebody. The edifice of my love crumbled; the years have gone past, yet, she comes back in my thoughts, to dig and scratch me. I do not wish to belittle anybody that came thereafter in my life and I know my existence of posterity will be limited to photo albums. My life may not be scanned; unless, I pen down my memoirs. With the passage of time I may be forgotten for ever.

No one will... (more)

Top Five Ways To Find Your Perfect Mate Without A Computer

By Simpanique, published on Jan 1, 2012

...the internet is your only means of reaching potential partners, in a way you’re hiding behind your computer and the Law of Attraction is not likely to help you. The Law of Attraction states that, “like attracts like” and “energy follows attention,” meaning your results reflect your thoughts and your actions. Over the years, I’ve become convinced the Law of Attraction is a powerful Law of the Universe, like gravity. Just like, “what goes up must come down,” try as you might, you can’t avoid or change the principle that, “like attracts like.”

If you’re hiding ... (more)
