Remininiscence of Love

By Uttam Gill, published on Jan 1, 2012

That one gaze makes all the difference. Whereever you are, the magical glance, as it broods over you, simply makes time stand still. You are floored; your heart pounds and you wonder is that love. Yes that’s love, the most sought after feeling to share with. You begin to dance, you are overjoyed and all these feelings orchestrates you’re dancing mood into sheer ecstasy of love.

Nights are spent gazing stars; words are scribbled over the paper and imagination stretches to reach out those gazing eyes. You are possessed. As you close your eyes, the bonds become much stronger and all that... (more)

Twenty-One Haiku’s of Love and Lonely Hearts

By Notumbus Bumbus, published on Jan 17, 2012

July, 2011

~~~
China is far away,
Your smile is closer
Here where my love resides.
~~~

I sought you in China,

And in far Peru;

Strong tea in the kitchen.

~~~
Where have you gone, my love?
Twilight call softly;
My tea has grown too cold.
~~~

Such great distance away,

The bee cannot see

Tomorrow’s sweet honey.

~~~
Here among the flowers,
Entire worlds await
The return of your scent.
~~~

You fly and then you land.

My arms grew... (more)

Love Making-Sort of Empty

By Uttam Gill, published on Feb 8, 2012

...The shower is doing the magic; the trickling water carves the mood to dance.

The guiding rules of sensuality initiate my desires and I accept the consenting embrace and then, we owe each other an erotic explanation to enact in playful mood. While enacting we are not alone, the credible love facilitates the love making. The orchestrating love with sensuality maintains the longevity and that’s when we say; 'Oh! It’s so fulfilling.' Thereafter too, we hear the chimes of heart. It is not ritual, we hold each other and she places her head on my chest and I caress her back and... (more)

His Love

By Betty B., published on Feb 10, 2012

... failure in time of trial, why is it hard Lord to get out of this denial?

I know Your there, I see it in the sky I see it in the flowers growing wild with Your touch.

The birds sing to me on spring mornings like a call from my Lord I see it in the river right down the road,

I love to smell the Lilac that You have made me to hold.

I want You to know Lord,even with the lack of faith the doubt inside please remove,but I know I love you when I read Your word,its this world thats aweful so much pain I see and hear, keep me safe Lord,

safe from the evil one, in my ... (more)

Love is eternal

By Uttam Gill, published on Feb 23, 2012

...is not a bad word, rather over a time it is very liberally used as synonym to limitation. Compulsion as I read, is a very passionate need, it articulate our thoughts which in turn motivates us. The myriad setbacks in life cannot be potent enough, to subvert the instinctive feelings of love. To extricate from the arduous trail of debacles, one needs to liberate the mind from the shackles of stifling customs and belief.

Liberation is an elemental core of our existence. Always question the validity of tortuous happening and remember that no question ever chokes; it facilitates ... (more)

Butterfly Love!

By Betty B., published on Feb 25, 2012

Do you ever watch the butterfly?

The beauty in its colors.

The love in its movements

its just like no other.

The butterfly is my favorite

of the bugs and the flowers

the love it shows is like Gods hand

its touch is soft and full of grace

so gentle in its movements like the Lamb.

So as you walk in the spring

watch the butterfly as it lands

see how it moves and let it stand

on the flowers God made for us and it,

take it slow and never skip.

The Specter Of Love

By D. Sager, published on Feb 28, 2012

...need of me

Everything stops when I understand

She is with my friend, he is beating her

Everything stops when I kill"

- Everything Stops, D.M.W. Sager

I take a deep breath. Jealousy. A cruel and unrelenting task master; holding me hostage, threatening my lover with violence. How quickly love turns to anger and hate. How quick that one you love can turn and violate you. Love excels at changing both itself and others. I watch as I leave all I know about me and life; all my beliefs fall to the wayside as I follow hard after what I “love”. I watch my ... (more)

A Love Reinvented

By Amy Barry, published on Feb 29, 2012

A LOVE, REINVENTED

Amy Barry

I love how he says my name,

and how he kisses me

on my nose not on my lips,

like the Maoris do,

I want to embrace him,

kiss him gently,

make love to him,

but the trouble with this love,

it’s hard to slow down,

to properly examine the moment,

as if the world shrinks,

to his body, his face,

then to his lips,

this wanting with every part

of myself, to be only with him,

the happiness in my soul,

like walking in the garden

in spring, flowers... (more)

Walking Away From Unhealthy Love

By Randy Mitchell, published on Mar 7, 2012

Most have experienced it: staying with the same person no matter how bad and unhealthy a relationship becomes, hoping against the odds that things will eventually get better allowing love to prevail. Some look to God, wish upon a star, or seek out and counsel with every psychologist around to heal the broken seams, replace bad with good, take another drink of love potion which brought bodies together in the first place, and inflame the sparks both felt while first meeting. But realistically, sometimes the right thing to do is walk away early on before you wake up one morning, aged, staring... (more)
