New Orleans-Several hundred jazz aficionados got an early jolt to their day during the inaugural International Jazz Day in Congo Square the birthplace of jazz in Louis Armstrong Park,located in historic Fauberg Treme.

Hollywood, CA.- Organizers are gearing up for another stellar event. The 33rd Annual Playboy Jazz Festival presented in co-operation with the L. A. Philharmonic Association was announced on February 10, 2011. The announcement was made at a Press Conference held on the East Lawn of the Playboy Mansion.

I have witnessed how the festival has grown tremendously over the years. This is due to the devoted, dedicated and professionalism of the students organizing the festival. New Orleans- Once again I had the pleasure of visiting New Orleans to attend the 42nd Annual New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell. This event was held on April 29-May 8, 2011. Over 400,000 music aficionados from all over the world attended all or parts of America's number one festival. I'm glad that I was in attendance for both weeekends. Heard some amazing music, ate some delicious food, met some more wonderful people as I do each time I visit the Crescent City or Big Easy.
